To help Gu Zhiyao regain her sobriety, Green Lord Liu threw her into a pond, leaving her drenched and somewhat angry. She even mocked Green Lord Liu for not being a real man. The assassin found their master and admitted their failure, begging for another chance. The assassin's master granted them one last opportunity. However, Wind Chaser failed to catch up with the masked person, which made the prince angry. The prince was also concerned about Gu Zhiyao's safety because she was the first person to protect him from harm. Consequently, he considered taking Gu Zhiyao as his concubine.
