Episode 14 recap: Shan Shan attempted suicide.
Shan Shan had the thought of ending her life decisively because of Wang Hai, and she also considered how Liang Jing had always looked down on her. So she made some arrangements, lying in a bathtub filled with flowers, and called her mother to apologize before cutting her wrists in a suicide attempt. Liang Jing received a call from Shan Shan's aunt, who suspected that something had happened to Shan Shan. As her aunt kept apologizing, Liang Jing's heart couldn't bear it, and she quickly went to find Shan Shan. Fortunately, Shan Shan was discovered in time, and her life was saved.
Wang Hai stayed by Shan Shan's bedside and when she woke up and wanted to go to work, Shan Shan held his hand and pleaded with him not to leave her, otherwise, she would have to die. However, Wang Hai didn't give her any hope and simply left, causing Shan Shan to burst into tears.
