Episode 10 recap: Xia Li misunderstood Lin Xin.
Everyone returned home with wounds, but fortunately, Min Er and Amu's relationship improved a lot. Min Er was grateful to Xia Li for waking her up, but Xia Li felt that it would be best for couples to communicate clearly. Amu held the sleeping Junzai in his arms while Min Er prepared to go home with her luggage. Amu held Min Er's hand while she apologized to him in tears. It turned out that both of them had been considering each other's feelings, but the more they feared the other knowing, the easier it was to hurt each other. It was important for them to be honest with each other.
Xia Li saw that Man was injured quite seriously, so she helped him apply ice. When Lin Xin came out, Xia Li quickly showed great concern for him. In fact, Man also envied Lin Xin, but now Xia Li only had Lin Xin in her eyes, and she didn't care about anyone else.
Early in the morning, Lin Xin was called to the office by his boss and asked to deliver a document. When he came out, Lin Xin only mentioned that it was an important file. The girl wanted to compensate Lin Xin, and although he initially wanted to refuse, her emotional state made him agree. When Lin Xin returned to the company and informed the boss that the contract wasn't signed, the boss became somewhat angry.
It turned out that the boss and Mr. Liu were married, but Mr. Liu had always been unfaithful outside. Their marriage was merely a formality. The mistress even sent Lin Xin a photo of herself and Mr. Liu in bed, which made her very angry. She asked Lin Xin to help her handle the situation. Initially, Lin Xin wanted to refuse, but the boss didn't give him any reason to decline.
After returning home, Xia Li noticed that Lin Xin's clothes were dirty. Lin Xin also received a message from Mr. Liu's mistress asking to meet up. In order to make the boss care about him, Lin Xin went to meet her and advised her to give up on Mr. Liu. However, the girl developed feelings for Lin Xin, and she even said she would reject the clothes Mr. Liu bought for her. Lin Xin accompanied her to the store, but to avoid making Xia Li jealous, he made an excuse to wait downstairs. Xia Li overheard the girl sending a voice message to Ah Xin and initially wondered if they had the same name.
After the girl left, she planned to take Lin Xin to buy clothes as compensation. Lin Xin initially wanted to refuse, but considering he had to complete the task given by the boss, he reluctantly agreed. Lin Xin realized that the girl had feelings for him, so he quickly mentioned that he had a girlfriend, but she didn't seem to care.
Mr. Liu also went to find Xia Li because he liked her. He always found opportunities to strike up a conversation. Coincidentally, he saw the clothes he bought for his mistress appearing on the shelves. He learned from the assistant that the mistress had returned the clothes, so he left a check and business card, and Xia Li clearly stated that she would return the extra money to Mr. Liu.
When Lin Xin returned, Xia Li noticed a scent of perfume on his tie, which made her uncomfortable. During work hours, the boss told Lin Xin to continue to appease the girl, unaware that Luis had discreetly placed his phone on the chair and recorded their conversation, discovering the boss's secret.
Lin Xin received a call from the girl inviting him to have dinner. Mr. Liu had also planned to have dinner with Xia Li, but Xia Li took the opportunity to excuse herself and went to the restroom, where she saw the girl entering while holding onto Lin Xin. Xia Li didn't say anything and left directly. Mr. Liu saw Lin Xin and mentioned that he was his wife's subordinate. Lin Xin didn't hide anything and instead handed the check given by the boss to the girl. The girl was deeply hurt, slapped Lin Xin, and ran away.
