Episode 13 recap: Lin Xin accused Xia Li.

After returning home, Lin Xin discovered that Xia Li was not at home, unaware that Xia Li was currently with Man. Xia Li wanted to help Lin Shan see the true face of the assistant and didn't want her to be deceived. Xia Li and Man intentionally arranged a meeting with a girl, hoping to expose her flaws. At this time, the assistant was still being threatened and restrained by them. However, the girl's boyfriend arrived, but he didn't reveal any useful information. Xia Li then decided to follow them, with the intention of facilitating the rescue of Lin Shan's assistant.

Throughout the journey, Xia Li held onto Man's arm, and Man was actually quite happy about it. As expected, they discovered the hiding place and quickly rushed in while they weren't paying attention, aiming to rescue the captives. However, the woman returned and refused to let them take the captives away, leading to a fight between the two sides. Unfortunately, Man was injured in the head, but Xia Li fought back without showing any weakness. The girl didn't expect Xia Li to be so powerful and was left speechless.

Afterward, Xia Li took Man to the hospital, fortunately, his injuries were not severe. When Lin Xin arrived at the hospital, she saw Xia Li and Man together. Lin Xin never expected Xia Li to confront the situation alone, but Lin Shan's assistant was very grateful to Xia Li.

Later, Lin Xin went to meet Lin Shan alone, realizing that she had indeed made a mistake, so she apologized to Lin Shan and admitted that she shouldn't have let her imagination run wild. Lin Shan was not willing to give her a chance for redemption, but the other party sincerely apologized to Lin Shan. Just as they left, they saw Xia Li and Lin Xin. Lin Shan was also very upset because her kindness towards the assistant was not merely a professional relationship.

However, Lin Xin still blamed Xia Li for not coming to her when she encountered the problem and instead seeking help from others. She was very concerned about this matter, but Xia Li felt that she just wanted to prove to Lin Xin that she hadn't misjudged the situation. Xia Li didn't expect her actions to make Lin Xin so angry. Later, Lin Xin went to find Man and asked why he didn't inform her about the incident, questioning whether he didn't want her to know or deliberately kept her in the dark. Man tried to explain, but Lin Xin refused to listen.

Xia Li eavesdropped on their conversation from the sidelines, but she didn't expect that Lin Xin and Man would end up arguing because of her.

After Man returned home, he couldn't help but think about Xia Li. He realized that he was growing more and more fond of her, but he didn't dare to say it out loud. Xia Li went home and looked at her kitten, never expecting things to escalate to this point.

Xia Li spent the night lying on the sofa, and the next morning, she rode her motorcycle to the hospital and left with Man. Man sat behind Xia Li, suddenly feeling that she was incredibly charming. Since that was the case, Xia Li also invited Lin Xin to join them. Xia Li was aware that Man had feelings for her, but she only had feelings for Lin Xin. The reason for arranging this meeting was to let Lin Xin know her intentions. Xia Li made it clear to Man that she only had feelings for Lin Xin and asked Lin Xin not to misunderstand her.

After Man left, Xia Li realized that Lin Xin had also left. While driving on the road, Man suddenly remembered the painting Xia Li had mentioned to him and got into a car accident. Lin Xin and Xia Li hurriedly brought him to the hospital, but they didn't expect things to turn out this way.

Lin Xin scolded Xia Li, after all, Man was his good friend, and Xia Li's words were hard for Man to accept. Xia Li felt wronged and cried, saying that she just wanted them to be like they used to be. However, Lin Xin felt that they could never go back to how things were before. He let go of Xia Li's hand and left.
