You're Just Not Her ep 7 recap/spoilers

Episode 7 recap: Xia Li takes care of Lin Xin's grandmother.

Louis secretly arrived at the company early, wanting to leave the gift on the boss's desk. Soon, when the boss arrived at work in the morning, he saw the gift Louis had given him on the desk. Afterwards, the boss called Louis into the office, asking him how he planned to make up for the chocolate incident and advised him to focus on his work. The boss also called Lin Xin into the office and suggested they work together on sales, hoping to sell the chocolates faster.

After finishing her work, Lin Xin received a call from her sister asking her to visit their grandmother at the nursing home. Lin Xin bought snacks for her grandmother and went to the nursing home. It turned out that their grandmother had been throwing paper airplanes downstairs, causing trouble in the entire nursing home. Lin Xin's sister also arrived and quickly apologized to the director, promising to resolve the issue soon.

Lin Xin and her sister tried to reason with their grandmother, but she insisted that she hadn't been littering. Lin Xin's sister had to attend to work matters and prepared to leave. However, Lin Xin assured her not to worry and said she would handle their grandmother's affairs herself. When Lin Xin returned home, she lay down on the sofa and received another phone call from the nursing home. It turned out that her grandmother had started throwing paper airplanes upstairs again. Lin Xin and Xia Li hurried over and picked up the paper airplanes from the floor.

Xia Li tried to persuade her grandmother not to throw paper airplanes, but she refused to listen and even claimed that Xia Li wasn't Xia Li, which made Xia Li feel a bit flustered. After Xia Li and Lin Xin returned home, Lin Xin mentioned that their grandmother's condition was getting worse. Xia Li reassured Lin Xin that she would visit their grandmother at the nursing home whenever she had time.

The next day, their grandmother caused a commotion at the nursing home early in the morning, once again folding paper airplanes. Since Lin Xin had something to attend to in the morning, Xia Li volunteered to go and check on her. Xia Li suggested that she could help their grandmother send all the letters at once. When their grandmother saw Xia Li arranging the paper airplanes into a heart shape, she became very happy.

Lin Shan's client, Mrs. Huang, brought her father out for some fresh air. While Mrs. Huang was on the phone, her father sat on a bench and saw the paper airplanes. When he opened one, he found a heart shape inside and was surprised to discover that their grandmother had greeted him. However, when Mrs. Huang saw this, she became very angry and took her father away. Fortunately, Lin Shan arrived at that moment. At first, Xia Li didn't understand what was going on, but Lin Shan took her to the director's office. After reviewing the recent surveillance footage, they discovered that their grandmother had often visited Mrs. Huang's father late at night. However, in Mrs. Huang's eyes, this was perceived as harassment of her father.

In addition, Lin Shan's assistant always blames Lin Shan's assistant for various faults. In order to ensure a successful collaboration, Lin Shan took the initiative to ask the assistant to apologize to them. However, the assistant was reluctant, as they believed they hadn't done anything wrong. Xia Li took the paper airplanes that their grandmother had folded and brought them home to study. When Lin Xin returned, Xia Li told her that their grandmother actually liked Mrs. Huang's father. Upon learning this, Xia Li planned to find an opportunity to fulfill their grandmother's wish.

The next day, the two of them went to the nursing home. Xia Li stayed with their grandmother, while Lin Xin was with Mrs. Huang's father. With the help of Lin Xin and Xia Li, the two finally had a chance to go on a date. It was thanks to their assistance that they were able to have this opportunity, and it almost seemed like they were eloping. Xia Li admired their love and hoped to live like that with Lin Xin in the future.

They played until late, and when they heard someone singing by the roadside, their grandmother and Mrs. Huang's father couldn't help but dance. Despite being in the advanced years of their lives, they still had the right to love. However, a fight broke out between the two groups of singers, and their grandmother even stepped in to try to stop it, resulting in her husband accidentally falling down during the commotion.

Mrs. Huang and her husband also arrived at the hospital. When Lin Shan came over, they started blaming Lin Shan and his family. Fortunately, their grandfather spoke up for them, leaving Mrs. Huang and her husband unsure of what to say. Lin Xin and Xia Li went to the nursing home to visit their grandmother. Later, Lin Xin learned that their grandmother and grandfather were now involved in a secret relationship. While it seemed like they had no connection on the surface, they were secretly in love. Xia Li even gave lipstick to their grandmother, which made her very happy.

Lin Xin asked their grandmother why she had such a good relationship with Xia Li now, but their grandmother replied that Xia Li wasn't Xia Li.
