Mu Yuan doubted Li Yuer's identity at every turn, while Cheng Biyuan sincerely treated her and even specially prepared delicious food from the Western Liang region and sent it to her. Li Yuer asked Cheng Biyuan why she didn't doubt herself, and Cheng Biyuan said she unconditionally believed in the prince.
