Episode 15 recap: Promise's father continues gambling, and Zhao Jin's ex-wife is entangled in unclear matters.
Peng Yu'an's father arranged to meet Cong Shan's father. They had a meal at a small restaurant. Cong Shan's father mentioned that he and his wife had been eating at this small restaurant for decades because Cong Shan's mother is from Hunan and likes the taste of the food there. Peng's father admired this and asked them about the secret to maintaining love. Cong Shan's father said that persistence is crucial in matters of the heart.
Peng's father tentatively asked if Cong Shan had mentioned anything about Peng Yu'an. However, Cong Shan's father didn't respond and advised him not to interfere in the affairs of young people. Xiaobai sent a WeChat message to Zhao Qin, inviting her to go out and make a movie. Zhao Qin immediately went out after seeing the message. When Zhao Jin finished work, the moon was already high in the sky. He took a picture and sent it to Promise.
Peng's father returned home and found Peng Yu'an drinking there. Peng's father was very angry upon seeing this. She understood them and asked her mother to understand her as well. After Zhao Jin went to work, Rainbow Sister asked him to arrange a meeting with Promise. She wanted to represent his family and formally meet Promise for a deeper understanding of each other.
Zhao Jin agreed because he knew Rainbow Sister was doing it for his own good. Promise was troubled by her mother's opposition to her relationship with Zhao Jin, and she was absent-minded while working at the shop.
