Peng Yu'an asked Zhao Jin if she had been at Cong Shan's house a couple of days ago. Without hesitation, Zhao Jin directly admitted that she was there.
Peng Yu'an immediately became nervous. Zhao Jin explained that at the time, she and Xu Yang were inside the house and knew that Cong Shan and Peng Yu'an were not on good terms, so they didn't come out to greet them. After saying that, Zhao Jin proactively raised her glass and apologized to Peng Yu'an. Peng Yu'an sat down in the taxi, feeling dejected. Cong Shan called him and asked if he could come pick her up. Peng Yu'an replied that he had been drinking and couldn't drive.
Xu Yang returned home and asked Shu Ran if she was disappointed in him. Shu Ran hugged him and said that she supported him no matter what. Xu Yang called Zhao Jin to apologize, and Zhao Jin understood that it was for his own good. Xu Yang directly told Zhao Jin that he liked her. At that moment, Xu Yang saw Peng's mother coming in and quickly hung up the phone. Peng's mother was worried about Peng Yu'an's relationship with Xu Yang, and Xu Yang didn't hide it from her. She told her directly that she had already broken up with Peng Yu'an.
Peng's father came to find Peng Yu'an and urged him to handle his relationship with Xu Yang as soon as possible. Peng Yu'an asked his father to go upstairs and have tea. Peng Yu'an explained to Cong Shan about the drinking incident but didn't tell her about Xu Yang's breakup request. Zhao Jin accompanied Zhao Qin to deliver a cat to Xu Yang and saw that it was snowing outside. Zhao Qin suggested going for a walk, and they all happily went out to have steak together. Zhao Jin explained Zhao Qin's illness to Xu Yang.
Cong Shan was angry that Peng Yu'an didn't tell her about his breakup with Xu Yang and didn't let him accompany her home. Cong Shan went to find Xu Yang and confirmed the breakup with Xu Yang. Then she turned back to Peng Yu'an to verify the situation. Peng Yu'an had no choice but to admit that Xu Yang indeed proposed a breakup, but he didn't agree to it.
After Peng Yu'an and Zhao Jin finished a match, they planned to go for a drink together. They sat in the car and silently competed with each other. Just then, Xu Yang called, and Peng Yu'an pressured Zhao Jin to answer the call. Surprisingly, Zhao Jin answered the phone and openly told Xu Yang that she and Peng Yu'an were together.
