Episode 14 recap: Tong Nian wants to start over with Liao Yuncheng.
While Tong Nian and the others were playing games, Liao Yuncheng had consumed quite a bit of alcohol and was lying on the sofa, intoxicated. Tong Nian wanted to call a designated driver for Liao Yuncheng, but he took out the car keys and wanted Tong Nian to drive him home. Tong Nian could only accompany Liao Yuncheng back home. Once they arrived, Liao Yuncheng suddenly approached Tong Nian, making the situation very awkward for her.
Liao Yuncheng said he would take a shower first and then talked to Tong Nian about what happened today. Tong Nian mentioned that Bai Yang was just a friend, but Liao Yuncheng questioned whether friends could engage in such intimate actions. Liao Yuncheng approached Tong Nian, and she denied having any intentions. Liao Yuncheng then brought up past events, and Tong Nian felt it was time for them to clarify things.
Tong Nian brought out a lot of alcohol and ingredients, made two glasses of "Dark Cuisine," and gave one to Liao Yuncheng, saying it was the "Forgetfulness Potion." They would start anew after drinking it. Liao Yuncheng asked Tong Nian about the definition of starting anew with the Forgetfulness Potion: whether it meant starting a new romantic relationship or becoming strangers again. Tong Nian expressed that it meant becoming strangers again. Liao Yuncheng drank the potion, indicating that they were starting over, and asked if he could pursue her and be his girlfriend.
Tong Nian was also surprised by his words and shared this matter with Dong Qiu Fen.
