Episode 13 recap: Murong Zang and Yun Jia released Kongming lanterns.
After Yun Jia returned home, she kept thinking about the determined look Murong Zang had when he stood up for her and General Hu. She even wondered if Murong Zang had feelings for her. Thinking about it made her unable to suppress her laughter. On the other hand, Murong Zi was worried that the Emperor and General Hu had recognized Yun Jia. He was afraid that they would take her away from him. Murong Zang felt that Yun Jia had become his vulnerability, so he dared not look at her too much.
Fu Gui came over and told Yun Jia that he had bought fireworks. Yun Jia was delighted to hear that and went out with Fu Gui to set off the fireworks. When Murong Zang went to see the Emperor, he encountered General Hu. General Hu mocked Murong Zang and was still concerned about Yun Jia. He wanted to know her whereabouts. General Hu also noticed that Yun Jia resembled the late Empress, so her background was naturally of great importance.
