Episode 18 recap: Yunjiao confessed her feelings to Murong Cang.
Yunjiao had a meeting with Xueqing in the past, and Xueqing told Yunjiao that the Duke Zhenguo was her father. Yunjiao naturally didn't believe it. Yunjiao also informed Murong Cang about this matter. Afterwards, Xueqing handed a letter to Yunjiao, who was completely surprised to discover that she was actually the princess. Yunjiao wanted to leave, but Xueqing said that everything she had now belonged to Yunjiao, and Yunjiao didn't want to be a princess; she only wanted to be with Murong Cang.
Yunjiao was prepared to leave, but Xueqing intentionally said that Murong Cang knew everything and was using Yunjiao to threaten the Duke Zhenguo. Xueqing suggested that Yunjiao should personally kill the Duke Zhenguo. Murong Cang kneeled in the ancestral hall, looking at his parents' memorial tablets. He vowed to seek revenge as a magician, but when facing Yunjiao, he gave her his name. In fact, Murong Cang indeed knew Yunjiao's true identity, and initially approached her for his own purposes. However, he no longer wanted to use Yunjiao now.
Murong Cang wanted to use the method of flipping a copper coin to decide his attitude towards Yunjiao, but the final result was not revealed yet. Yunjiao returned and immediately fainted. Murong Cang hurriedly took Yunjiao back, and she quickly regained consciousness. Yunjiao asked Murong Cang about his true feelings for her, but he remained silent and chose to leave.
Yunjiao followed him and confessed her love for Murong Cang. Murong Cang held back his tears, and Yunjiao kissed him directly. Murong Cang didn't resist. Yunjiao called him a coward and turned to leave. However, just as she took a few steps, Murong Cang pulled her into his arms and kissed her passionately.
