Episode 6 recap: Revenge's Doll (Part 2).
Qianxia quickly arrived at the Shangguan Mansion. After carefully examining the body in front of her, it was indeed confirmed that the person was killed by Lady Shangguan. Qianxia intended to take Lady Shangguan back for further investigation, but a casual remark from Lady Shangguan sparked the curiosity of Qianxia and others. Led by Shangguan Jing, they went to the study and looked at the dolls on the desk. It was obvious that something was missing, but Lord Shangguan denied it.
Qianxia asked Lord Shangguan about some information regarding Dong'er, which had to be traced back to when they first met. Lady Shangguan was the young miss of the Bo Wan Zhai, and they had a slight fondness for each other when they first met. With Dong'er's help, they quickly became a couple and Lady Shangguan soon became pregnant. She wanted to make some dolls to put in the room but unexpectedly had a miscarriage.
Since then, there have been frequent nightmares and cries of children. Lady Shangguan tried to explain that she didn't intentionally harm Dong'er. Xiao Qi also had Lady Shangguan leave her fingerprint on the testimony. Nonetheless, Qianxia still came to the Illusion Pavilion as she wanted to know the truth. It seemed like she sensed that Lady Shangguan was intentionally hiding something.
What surprised everyone was that there was another original wife before Shangguan Jing married Du Dan Niang.
