Episode 21 recap: Xia Yuan said goodbye to Song Hang Yu.
Hao Wei Lai confronted Xia Yuan, making it clear that he saw the flower as a gift from A Hui to Xia Yuan. He questioned Xia Yuan about why they deceived him. Xia Yuan explained that they didn't want A Hui to become an obstacle in their relationship. However, Hao Wei Lai felt hurt the most by Xia Yuan's deception. Xia Yuan hoped that Hao Wei Lai wouldn't dwell on it, but Hao Wei Lai believed that Xia Yuan should apologize. This made Xia Yuan even more upset, and they put down their fork and went back to their room, wanting both of them to calm down. Their nice dinner was ruined this way.
Ye Si Qi and Wei Xue Song revisited a familiar place, and this time Ye Si Qi helped set up the tent. After finishing, they admired the beautiful scenery and were in a pleasant mood. Song Hang Yu secretly went to the restaurant where Xia Yuan worked and saw the intimate interaction between Hao Wei Lai and Xia Yuan. His expression turned cold. Soon after, Song Hang Yu's debtors found Xia Yuan's residence and assumed she was Song Hang Yu's wife. They threatened Xia Yuan to help repay Song Hang Yu's debts, and Xia Yuan agreed.
Upon learning that Xia Yuan was going to repay Song Hang Yu's debts, Hao Wei Lai empathized with their situation and handed over the money his company had earned in recent times to Xia Yuan. As Ye Si Qi became more certain of her feelings, she treated Wei Xue Song even better and went out of her way to cook soup and meals for him.
