Episode 6 recap: Hao Wei Lai helped Xia Yuan find clues about Song Hang Yu.
Qiao Bin was worried that Huo Mingxuan would snatch Ye Si Qi away, so he specifically asked Kite about when Huo Mingxuan would leave. He found out that Huo Mingxuan would stay for another month, which made him anxious. He borrowed 200 yuan from Kite. Huo Mingxuan watched all of this from a corner and took out his phone to capture the scene of Qiao Bin borrowing money.
Huo Mingxuan enjoyed cooking, and when Qiao Bin found out, he warned him not to cook for Ye Si Qi. The two got into a fight, and just as Hao Wei Lai entered and tried to break it up, he got accidentally hurt. Finally, it was Ye Si Qi's angry shout that made Qiao Bin and Huo Mingxuan stop. Ye Si Qi showed concern for the injured Huo Mingxuan, which infuriated Qiao Bin, causing him to slam the door and leave.
Xia Yuan saw that Hao Wei Lai was injured and quickly applied medicine to his wounds. Hao Wei Lai had never been injured before, so this was the most serious injury he had experienced. He asked Xia Yuan to blow on it for him. Looking at Xia Yuan's face, he suddenly felt a flutter in his heart. Xia Yuan felt a bit flustered under Hao Wei Lai's focused gaze and quickly excused herself to wash her hands.
Huo Mingxuan believed he had a chance to get closer to Ye Si Qi, so he repeatedly asked her out on dates. Ye Si Qi rejected all of his invitations, claiming she didn't have time lately. Huo Mingxuan felt angry and decided to secretly call the immigration office to report that Qiao Bin was working illegally despite having a tourist visa.
On that day, Hao Wei Lai and Xia Yuan were playing with water skippers by the lake, enjoying themselves. Ye Si Qi and Qiao Bin arrived as well. Qiao Bin performed well in the game, but Ye Si Qi was good at talking but couldn't really fight. At that moment, Kite came looking for them and informed them that the immigration office suspected there were illegal workers on the farm and had come to investigate. She told them to gather their identification documents.
Qiao Bin was worried that someone was targeting him, so he hid. After the immigration officers checked everyone and were about to leave, they suddenly remembered that the Chinese person in the video wasn't Hao Wei Lai. They requested to search Kite's house. Qiao Bin hid behind the towel rack in the bathroom, and the search team didn't find him. Just as they were about to leave, Qiao Bin was startled by a snake that suddenly appeared, and he couldn't hide anymore. The immigration officers took him away.
Hao Wei Lai speculated that Huo Mingxuan was behind Qiao Bin's trouble. Ye Si Qi didn't believe that Huo Mingxuan would do such a thing, but soon the truth came out because Huo Mingxuan confessed to her that he was the one who called the immigration office. This made Ye Si Qi furious, but she couldn't do anything because Huo Mingxuan had already left the farm.
Hao Wei Lai, Xia Yuan, and Ye Si Qi brainstormed together to find a way to rescue Qiao Bin. Ye Si Qi initially stubbornly suggested sending Qiao Bin back to their home country through the immigration office to get rid of the trouble. However, that would implicate the Smith family who kindly took Qiao Bin in. In the end, persuaded by Xia Yuan and Hao Wei Lai, Ye Si Qi presented her divorce certificate as proof that Qiao Bin came to the farm to find her. Kite also provided evidence that Qiao Bin had never worked on her farm. The immigration officers finally believed their explanation and released Qiao Bin on the spot.
To express his gratitude for Ye Si Qi's help, Qiao Bin intended to marry her, but Ye Si Qi always found him too clumsy. Hao Wei Lai mediated between them, and the atmosphere became more lively. The seasonal work at Kite's farm was coming to an end, and she paid everyone their wages, informing them that the work was about to finish.
Xia Yuan, Hao Wei Lai, and Ye Si Qi had all grown fond of farm life and didn't want to leave. However, life had to go on. Kite agreed to let them stay until they found their next job, which made the three of them very grateful. Xia Yuan was unaware that Kite was Song Hang Yu's ex-wife. She insisted on finding Song Hang Yu, and Kite, seeing her determination, could only wish her good luck.
Hao Wei Lai had been staking out at the bar to find out Song Hang Yu's whereabouts. One day, he overheard two foreigners talking about Song Hang Yu and approached them. The foreigners were cautious, but Hao Wei Lai showed them a photo of Kite and Song Hang Yu together, describing Song Hang Yu as a scumbag who not only hurt his sister's heart but also harmed many others. He claimed that he wanted to teach Song Hang Yu a lesson. Eventually, the men revealed the address where Song Hang Yu could be found. As a token of appreciation, Hao Wei Lai invited them to have a drink.
Xia Yuan found the address provided by Hao Wei Lai and asked the security guard about Song Hang Yu. The guard claimed to have never seen him and refused to let Xia Yuan and Hao Wei Lai enter the company to find him. At that moment, a Chinese man named Loris happened to encounter them. Learning about Xia Yuan's purpose, Loris informed her that he knew Song Hang Yu as he had previously worked there.
Xia Yuan got into Loris's car hoping to access Song Hang Yu's records, but the company had recently undergone renovations, making it difficult to find the information. Xia Yuan returned empty-handed. Later, she thought about staying and working there while waiting for news. She recommended herself and Hao Wei Lai to Loris, and they both decided to stay. However, Xia Yuan received much better treatment than Hao Wei Lai, which made him suspicious of Loris's intentions toward her.
