Episode 4 recap: Cheng Yao got drunk and was despised by Qian Heng.

While in the car, Cheng Yao vomited due to being drunk, which made Qian Heng very angry. He demanded that Cheng Yao get out of the car, but Cheng Yao was in a dazed state. In order to get Cheng Yao out of the car, Qian Heng had to take off his coat and leave it next to a cardboard box. He even recorded a video as evidence that Cheng Yao had dirtied his car.

Qian Heng was extremely angry about this incident, and Cheng Yao, in her intoxicated state, even made a victory gesture. In the end, Cheng Yao was put inside a cardboard box and taken back home. Cheng Yao couldn't get up while lying in the box, so Qian Heng had no choice but to pull her up. However, Cheng Yao accidentally fell into Qian Heng's arms.

Qian Heng felt very helpless. Cheng Yao was already drunk at this point and was being physically inappropriate with Qian Heng, which made him very angry. The next morning, Cheng Yao woke up to find herself on the sofa with a splitting headache. When she got up, she saw Qian Heng sitting nearby, still very angry. Cheng Yao also remembered her behavior from the previous night and quickly apologized to Qian Heng.

Later, Qian Heng calculated all the money Cheng Yao owed him, including the cost of her actions while being drunk, and showed her the video of her drunkenness from the previous night. Qian Heng presented a contract agreement that required Cheng Yao to do household chores to repay her debt since she didn't have any money left. Cheng Yao had no choice but to agree.

Cheng Yao purchased a lot of things for the house, and Qian Heng even bought expensive mineral water for himself. When Qian Heng opened the refrigerator, he found that Cheng Yao had bought durians. He scolded her harshly and demanded that she not eat durians at home.

After taking a shower, Qian Heng saw Cheng Yao watching a TV drama. He made a couple of sarcastic comments and went back to his room to rest. At night, while lying in bed, Qian Heng realized he couldn't fall asleep. He went out and discovered that Cheng Yao was preparing takeaway food for his lunch the next day.

Qian Heng had originally wanted Cheng Yao to make something ready-made, but she had taken a shortcut. Qian Heng also asked Cheng Yao to immediately prepare a late-night snack for him. At this point, Cheng Yao was making noise in her room, thinking that Qian Heng would be able to fall asleep. However, even after the meal was prepared, Qian Heng still couldn't sleep.

Qian Heng had Cheng Yao make the meal again, but he still couldn't sleep. Cheng Yao felt helpless too, considering she had spent a lot of money preparing a big meal, but Qian Heng wasn't getting up to eat. The next morning, before Qian Heng went to work, Cheng Yao asked him why he didn't eat the late-night snack she made. Qian Heng simply said that he did it for her own good.

Qian Heng was also a bit puzzled as to why Cheng Yao made him food now, but he still couldn't sleep. Wu Jun was there, helping Qian Heng analyze the situation.

However, because Cheng Yao ate too much last night, she has been running to the toilet all day. After Wu Jun left, in order to please Cheng Yao, he even said he would reimburse her for some money.

Cheng Yao went to buy groceries and on her way back, she saw two men arguing with Qian Heng. Cheng Yao thought they were Qian Heng's enemies, so she approached them and sprayed them with pepper spray. It was later revealed that the two men were actually Qian Heng's mother's bodyguards.

When Qian Heng returned home, he found his mother pretending to be sick in bed. His mother pretended to be sick to make her son come home more often. After Qian Heng returned home, his mother continued to act pitiful, and Qian Heng could only listen to her complaints helplessly. After comforting his mother, Qian Heng prepared to leave, but his father stopped him and hoped that he would not continue running the law firm but instead come back to inherit the family business. However, Qian Heng had his own aspirations and didn't want to rely on the family, so he directly refused.

To understand why Wu Jun liked Cheng Xi, we have to go back to high school. Back then, Wu Jun saw a girl running on the playground. Even though he only saw her silhouette, Wu Jun was deeply captivated. Wu Jun accidentally fell to the ground, and Cheng Xi hurriedly carried the injured Wu Jun to the medical room. When Wu Jun woke up, he found himself lying in a hospital bed. From the doctor, Wu Jun learned that a girl had carried him back. From that moment on, the seeds of love took root and sprouted in Wu Jun's heart.

Cheng Xi had always been like a goddess in Wu Jun's heart, and now that he finally had a chance to interact with her, Wu Jun wouldn't let go of such an opportunity. Cheng Yao prepared a meal at home and waited for Qian Heng to return. When Qian Heng came back, Cheng Yao immediately served him attentively, trying to make amends.

However, Qian Heng was still angry when he returned and asked Cheng Yao to stay away from him. Wu Jun finally had the day to meet Cheng Xi, and they arranged to meet at the market. Wu Jun carried a gift in his hand, ready to give it to Cheng Xi, but accidentally dropped his phone on the ground. Fortunately, a girl picked it up, and to Wu Jun's surprise, it was his goddess, Cheng Xi.

Wu Jun could see the joy in Cheng Xi's eyes, and she felt a bit embarrassed. It turned out that Cheng Xi was at the market helping her grandmother pack things because of a case. Cheng Xi also invited Wu Jun to have a drink, and Wu Jun immediately drank a glass of liquor. Cheng Xi also expressed her gratitude for allowing Cheng Yao to work at the law firm since Cheng Yao was a promising talent.

At night, Wu Jun got drunk, and Cheng Xi had to take him back to rest. Taking advantage of his intoxication, Wu Jun confessed his feelings to Cheng Xi.
