Episode 1 recap: Dad's funeral turned into a joyous occasion in an instant.
Leo (played by Ma Dongchen) knelt in front of his father, Li Changhai's coffin, with tears streaming down his face, grieving over his father's departure. On the wall hung a portrait of Li Changhai, and soon his former business partners arrived to remind Leo to continue their collaboration. Unexpectedly, Leo took out a POS machine, and after a moment of hesitation, the other party swiped the card. In addition to that, Li Changhai's friends appeared one after another, presenting large sums of money as condolence gifts, some even in the millions. Leo had to conceal his happiness and mourn his father's departure. Just when Leo was about to announce that he would turn today's funeral into a joyous occasion, Li Changhai (played by Cao Ranan) pushed open the door!
Leo was frightened and immediately hid, while Li Changhai angrily tried to catch him. The friends who came to attend the funeral were scared off by this scene and scattered in all directions. Li Changhai successfully caught Leo and criticized his inappropriate actions. He even went on to berate him. It turned out that Leo's actions were all for the sake of realizing his dream of going to Mars, but Li Changhai had already cancelled Leo's bank card. Leo had no choice but to come up with this absurd idea! Afterwards, Li Changhai left Leo aside and joined his friends to pay tribute to their deceased friend, Chen Leo. Leo drank alone, and to his surprise, he saw Chen Leo's portrait blinking. Li Changhai thought Leo was being disrespectful towards Chen Leo and tried to hit him. Unexpectedly, at that moment, thunder suddenly sounded in the sky, and coincidentally, two mysterious figures in black appeared and handed Leo and Li Changhai a stick each!
When the two woke up again, they found themselves surrounded by a group of students! They were then called to the principal's office, and Leo was puzzled to see that the people in front of him were all his father's friends. They even called him Chen Leo! Leo was so scared that he ran to the bathroom, followed by Li Changhai. The two looked at themselves in the mirror and found it hard to believe that they had traveled through time!
