Episode 2 recap: Yan Zhen encountered danger.
Yan Zhen had a momentary daze when she saw Chu Ze'an and almost fell to the ground. Chu Ze'an promptly caught her waist, and at that moment, reporters swarmed in to take photos. Chu Ze'an revealed his identity and made it clear that Yan Ming did not agree to declare Chu Ze Jia dead. Moreover, half of the shares held by Chu Ze Jia belonged to him. Therefore, Yan Zhen was not the majority shareholder at the moment. After speaking, Chu Ze'an specially presented a large bouquet of lilies. This caused Yan Zhen, who was allergic to lilies, to sneeze uncontrollably. Gu Cheng quickly helped hold the lilies and believed that Chu Ze'an did it intentionally.
Yan Zhen wanted to investigate a corruption case from fourteen years ago. Chu Ze'an's sudden return disrupted her plans, so she decided to quickly enter the archives to uncover the truth. Just as Yan Zhen was about to invite the three shareholders to dinner, she was drugged by smoke and fainted on the bed. She vaguely saw Chu Ze Jia approaching her, and then she fell into a deep coma. When she woke up, she noticed a figure moving in the bathroom. Immediately, she grabbed a water glass from the table and one of her high heels, intending to catch the person off guard when they came out. However, before she could make a move, she was restrained, and the person holding her down was Chu Ze'an.
Chu Ze'an warned Yan Zhen that their situation was dangerous. The fact that the other party dared to openly poison within the group meant they must be well-prepared. He suggested that Yan Zhen leave the country, but Yan Zhen refused. Instead, she decided to invite the three shareholders to dinner together, exploit their weaknesses, and persuade them to cooperate with her.
