Episode 23 recap: Chu Zejia had a meeting with Wang Zhongmin.
Yan Zhen believed that she should be the one to meet Wang Zhongmin. As long as Wang Zhongmin knew that she had a piece of information, he would definitely take action. However, Chu Zejia was unwilling to let Yan Zhen take any risks, and they had a disagreement that escalated into an argument. Gu Cheng quickly found an excuse to call Chu Xin and avoid the situation. Chu Zejia hoped that Yan Zhen would calm down and promised to seek justice for her parents. However, Yan Zhen did not want that kind of protection. She remembered that four years ago, Chu Zejia also wanted to protect her, but ended up being absent for four years.
