Episode 8 recap: Chu Ze'an accompanied Yan Zhen to the testing center.
Chu Ze'an had someone replace the report before Yan Zhen arrived at the testing center. What he didn't know was that Yan Zhen had sent twin fetal hairs. This action actually confirmed his identity in Yan Zhen's eyes. Yan Zhen drove Chu Ze'an to the entrance of the Chu family's house. Looking at Chu Ze'an's sleeping profile, she didn't know what he had experienced all these years. She couldn't bring herself to honestly confess that he was actually Chu Zejia.
Chu Ze'an opened his eyes and saw Yan Zhen staring at him intently. He believed that Yan Zhen recognized his face resembling Chu Zejia's, and his yearning for Chu Zejia grew stronger. When he realized that Yan Zhen intended to take him back to the Chu family, he quickly refused because dealing with his mother and Chu Xin would give him a headache.
