Episode 6 recap: Ji Lingsu and Lin Yumeng share a room.
Ji Hao watched as his son brought home a problematic woman, surrounded by negative news. He was so angry that he stomped his feet. Ji Yunxiao and Tang Ruoyun were on the side, adding fuel to the fire, and they were scolded. Ji Lingsu took Lin Yumeng back to the Ji family intentionally pretending to be an unsuitable woman, enjoying the sight of his father turning red and furious. Tang Ruoyun pretended to advise him to find a good woman and not to have an affair.
But Ji Lingsu directly refuted her statement, saying that she was the other woman who had intruded into his parents' marriage. Ji Lingsu argued with his father, and Ji Hao immediately dismissed Ji Lingsu from his position. Tang Ruoyun became the CEO, and Ji Yunxiao took on the role of design director. Ji Lingsu, who was fired, had nothing, while Ji Yunxiao wanted Lin Yumeng to consider him, calling her the problematic woman. Lin Yumeng scolded him harshly.
To avoid arousing suspicion, Lin Yumeng had to spend the night sharing a room with Ji Lingsu. While she went to change into her nightwear, she noticed that Ji Lingsu's abdomen was bruised from saving her during the day. Feeling sorry, she personally applied medicine for him. Ji Lingsu couldn't bear it anymore and insisted on doing it himself, telling her to go to sleep. Lin Yumeng found a blanket and lay down at the foot of the bed, falling asleep quickly. At that moment, the housekeeper arrived to deliver a midnight snack, and Lin Yumeng, feeling nervous, hid under the covers, accidentally kissing Ji Lingsu.
