Episode 5 recap: Hezhou believes in Xia Tian.
Hezhou thinks that Shen Yueran has a strong bias against He Shanyue. He recognizes his own granddaughter, and he feels that Shen Yueran's jealousy is somewhat intense. Whenever she gets excited, she can't help but cough, scaring Shen Yueran and He Shanyue. He Shanyue couldn't hold back anymore and slapped Shen Yueran's face, warning her not to behave like that again, otherwise she would not spare her.
Ji Cheng Xuan finds it strange why Xia Tian's emotional reaction is so intense. Xia Tian feels that if he also had a grandmother who loved him like that, he wouldn't be able to tolerate Shen Yueran treating an elderly person in such a way. Xia Tian can't bear it, and he wonders what he would do if something happened to his grandmother.

Ji Cheng Xuan wants to act in front of Shen Yueran, but Xia Tian strongly refuses. However, Ji Cheng Xuan insists that he has invested a lot of money in his relationship with Xia Tian and can't let that go to waste. They have to make it look real. Seeing how serious Ji Cheng Xuan is, Xia Tian feels a bit nervous.
Zou Bo thought that Shen Yueran had successfully defeated Xia Tian, but the result turned out to be unexpected. Xia Tian couldn't help but think about Ji Cheng Xuan and didn't realize that he might have developed feelings for Ji Cheng Xuan. Zou Bo asks Xia Tian to meet him and adds something to the water.
Xia Tian looks at Zou Bo's apologetic appearance and decides to forgive him if he returns his grandmother's property deed.
