Episode 2 recap: Guan Yu investigated Yang Si.

Guan Yu instructed them to pretend to be passengers and discreetly approached and apprehended Yang Si. When Yang Si wanted to use the restroom, Guan Yu and the others also pretended to go to the restroom and captured Yang Si, bringing them back. Yang Si was interrogated upon arrival and claimed to be clueless about why they were being detained.

During the interrogation, the interrogator asked Yang Si where they were last night. Yang Si explained that there was a fire near their home, so they called the fire department. However, since the area consisted mostly of single-story houses, the fire trucks probably couldn't access it, and Yang Si didn't know if they eventually arrived. Yang Si mentioned they had nowhere to go, so they sought out warmer places. They initially planned to go to the hospital, but the main gate was closed, and they couldn't enter. In the end, they found a spot inside a pipe near the bridge and stayed there.

The interrogator asked if Yang Si had any witnesses. Yang Si admitted encountering a few intoxicated individuals, but they doubted those people would remember them. Yang Si questioned if it was a crime to wander the streets. Guan Yu secretly signaled Zhou Qi to call the fire department and verify the incident.

Guan Yu stated that it was not a crime to wander the streets, but they reminded Yang Si about their fingerprint found at the Hongqiao Group. Yang Si confessed that they couldn't deceive them. They saw lights in that area, which seemed warm, so they went there to seek shelter. Unexpectedly, they discovered a dead body inside a car and intended to call for help. However, they found another dead body inside, so they decided to leave first.

Guan Yu asked Yang Si why his fingerprints were found on the second and third floors if that was the case. Yang Si explained that at the time, they had the intention of searching for valuable items inside, but they didn't find anything, so they had to leave. Guan Yu and the team mentioned that Yang Si had spent 15 years in prison and knew very well what to say and what not to say. They were prepared with a set of statements, and nothing substantial had been extracted from them.

Zhou Qi inquired with the fire department and confirmed that there was indeed a fire in a location similar to what Yang Si had described. Guan Yu instructed everyone to further investigate Yang Si's social background and asked Zhou Qi to question Wang Ping. The rest of the team was assigned other tasks, and they were to report any new information.

Liao Yuan investigated the traces of the gun and managed to locate Sun Guoliang. Sun Guoliang claimed to have turned over a new leaf and had no connections with them anymore. However, he provided them with a lead, suggesting that if they wanted to know more about the matter, they should approach a specific person who might be able to provide some clues.

When Liao Yuan and the team found this person, initially, they were reluctant to speak. However, under Liao Yuan's interrogation, they eventually confessed that they helped Xiao Wei sell guns. Xiao Wei had already been apprehended by Liao Yuan. Liao Yuan proceeded to interrogate Xiao Wei in the prison, where Xiao Wei admitted to selling a gun but claimed that he was merely assisting others and had no knowledge of where the merchandise came from.

Guan Yu and the team also visited the local police station for an introduction to the work there. They inquired and learned that Yang Si had not held steady jobs, and eventually, they resorted to doing odd jobs under the bridge. These casual jobs didn't require any verification of their origins. Guan Yu and the team went to the area under the bridge and interviewed a small goods vendor who had encountered Yang Si. The vendor mentioned that Yang Si was there yesterday but refused to buy anything, and they were very stingy, leaving a lasting impression.
