Episode 5 recap: Guan Yu An returned the documents to Fang Ke Er.
Due to a missing passenger, the plane was delayed and unable to take off. Zhang Ruo Ling and her team were searching around the terminal, hoping to find the passenger who hadn't boarded the plane. Chen Jie also met with Lv Zhi Shan's ex-husband. At first, the ex-husband mistook Chen Jie for Lv Zhi Shan's boyfriend, but upon learning they were just friends, he didn't want to engage in further conversation. However, Chen Jie stopped him and expressed the hope of giving Lv Zhi Shan more opportunities. Chen Jie even asked the ex-husband if their child would truly be willing to leave with him and showed him a video of the child's birthday party.
Zhang Ruo Ling and her colleagues finally found the passenger who was delayed and shopping. The passenger was selecting shoes at a mall. Zhang Ruo Ling intentionally mentioned that if the passenger didn't leave, they would have to take the evening flight, so the passenger hurriedly left with them. Chen Jie also informed everyone about finding Lv Zhi Shan's ex-husband, and Lv Zhi Shan happily came over to tell everyone that her ex-husband would no longer fight for custody of their child. It was because Chen Jie showed him the video that he understood taking their daughter away wouldn't make the child happy, which led to a change in his mindset, and he no longer contested custody with Lv Zhi Shan.
Lv Zhi Shan was very happy because now her daughter could be with her. Chen Jie didn't tell Lv Zhi Shan's ex-husband about finding him. When the intern was about to finish work, he suddenly noticed a work badge on the ground. He hurried to catch up, but Fang Ke Er had already boarded the bus and didn't hear him.
The next day, Fang Ke Er searched everywhere for her documents. On the other hand, Yang Shang Wei thought Fang Ke Er must have lost her documents. At that moment, the intern approached, but before he could mention that he had the work badge, Fang Ke Er thought he was intentionally trying to strike up a conversation with her and left directly. The intern didn't have a chance to show the documents before Fang Ke Er left.
Yang Shang Wei was giving a lecture to the interns when the intern who found Fang Ke Er's documents spoke up and earned applause from everyone. Fang Ke Er, on the other hand, was disdainful. Yang Shang Wei also asked for the person's name, and he said his name was Guan Yu An. He mentioned that he had lived near the airport since childhood, so he was very familiar with the situation there. Yang Shang Wei found the conversation with him quite pleasant and even offered to introduce him to ground services.
After finishing work, Fang Ke Er went to the lost and found department, hoping to check if someone had found her belongings. At that moment, Guan Yu An happened to come by and left the documents at the lost and found counter. Fang Ke Er saw them and directly took back her documents.
However, even so, Fang Ke Er's attitude towards Guan Yu An was very bad because she initially thought he was intentionally trying to strike up a conversation with her. After finishing work, Zhang Ruo Ling went to find her sister, who had flown to Seoul in the morning and would fly again tomorrow morning. So, she had some free time in the afternoon. Her sister mentioned Guo Qi Guang's pursuit of Zhang Ruo Ling but expressed full support for Zhang Ruo Ling to reconcile with her ex-husband and even mentioned that she wanted to be the bridesmaid at the wedding.
Zhang Ruo Ling called Yang Shang Wei and told him that her sister had been complained about. A passenger claimed that her sister had harassed her by initiating conversation and asking for her contact information, causing some discomfort to the passenger. As a result, the company decided to temporarily suspend her sister. Zhang Ruo Ling recalled the scene of her sister's first day as a flight attendant, where everyone had advised her not to deviate from the procedures.
Zhang Ruo Ling went to find Guo Qi Guang on behalf of her sister, hoping he could help inquire about her sister's situation. Guo Qi Guang mentioned that he had already consulted the HR department and assured her not to worry, as they would follow the standard procedures. Guo Qi Guang felt a bit disappointed upon realizing that Zhang Ruo Ling wasn't the first person to approach him about this matter.
Currently, Wing, Zhang Ruo Ling's sister, was unaware of her suspension and hurriedly sought answers from her sister. Zhang Ruo Ling quickly explained that she had never harassed anyone and, in fact, had rejected the person's request for her phone number. Guan Yu An and the other interns were still listening to Chen Jie's explanation, while other colleagues were preparing to gather evidence against the passenger who frequently harassed other flight attendants.
Wing was still angry at her sister, feeling neglected, so she became upset and drowned her sorrows in alcohol. Fang Ke Er called Zhang Ruo Ling to inform her that Wing had gotten drunk, and they quickly went to bring her back. Yang Shang Wei also helped. Seeing the two of them like that, Fang Ke Er felt a sense of disappointment.
After they arrived, they saw Guan Yu An. Knowing that Fang Ke Er was in a bad mood, he took her to sing karaoke.
