Episode 17 recap: Zhao Wu Di breaks free.
Marlou saw many people coming in the parking lot and felt that they had a tough time hiding inside. He started fighting with them. The man from before had already left, leaving A Li and Zhao Wu Di behind. A Li poured a glass of wine for Zhao Wu Di and he asked if it was the same as the last time, but this time he wouldn't be fooled again.
A Li poured a glass of wine for Zhao Wu Di and he drank it, but this time the wine was much stronger than before. Zhao Wu Di said that even though he couldn't remove the iron chains, he could dismantle the chair. In his hands, the chair turned into pieces completely, surprising A Li with Zhao Wu Di's strength.
Zhao Wu Di suggested that the antidote might still be on A Li's lips. A Li confirmed it and told Zhao Wu Di that if he wanted the antidote, he had to come and kiss him. Surprisingly, when Zhao Wu Di approached A Li, he directly took out the antidote from A Li's pocket and consumed it before leaving.
Marlou asked Ma Ling and Shen Xing Yu to hide in the office while he went to confront those people. Zhao Wu Di returned but was unexpectedly punched by Shen Xing Yu, who hadn't recognized him clearly. Zhao Wu Di was surprised that he was punched by Shen Xing Yu instead of someone else, but Shen Xing Yu claimed it was unintentional.
Shen Xing Yu's uncle found Dr. Zhou, the company's chief scientist, and invited him over.
