Episode 22 recap: Bai Liu Shuang continues the investigation.
Feng Yi Lun told San Jie to stop making a fuss. She's already quite old, yet she keeps asking all sorts of questions. San Jie thinks her aunt is nice, although she grew up abroad, so she's not sure if there will be any discomfort. Director Xu and the producer started arguing. The producer thinks Director Xu is talented, but filmmaking also requires investment. He wants Director Xu to not be too self-centered and consider others. However, Director Xu doesn't agree. He believes there's only one soul here, and that's himself. According to him, without him, the movie cannot be made.
The producer is also very angry and says he won't come tomorrow, to see how Director Xu manages alone. Director Xu comes to find Yang Li Hua and says they are missing a lighting technician. Yang Li Hua thinks of Ji Li, who is efficient and has learned a bit about lighting before. They can ask him to come and work here.
Director Xu comes to ask Ji Li, and Ji Li says he did learn some lighting before. If Director Xu is willing, he can indeed come and work. Inspector Liang and Mr. Lin are collaborating. Mr. Lin helped Inspector Liang solve the Nanjing Road murder case, and Inspector Liang is happy, thinking that working with Mr. Lin was the right decision.

Ji Li mentions that previously Feng Yi Lun said that character and art are unrelated.
Yang Li Hua came to find Boss Yang, but Boss Yang is currently not willing to see her. He asks her what the matter is. The movie wants to participate in a competition, but there are some financial issues. Yang Li Hua came to ask the boss for help. The boss says he can help, but he has one condition: the scene with the bareback shot must be deleted.
Bai Liu Shuang has been investigating her sister's case and has found Mr. Lin's subordinates. She secretly followed them here but almost got caught. Feng Yi Lun went out on his own, claiming that he came to investigate a news story and didn't want to offend anyone.
