Episode 24 recap: Ji Li interviewed Zhou Fang Fei.
Zhou Fang Fei's assistant called Feng Yi Lun to arrange a meeting for an article. Feng Yi Lun was concerned that it might be a trap, so he asked Ji Li to go instead. Yan Hao informed Ji Li that previously Fang Fei won the Film Queen award but didn't attend the ceremony, which offended many people. As a result, her new film's screening schedule was reduced, and they wanted Ji Li's help to generate some gossip about Fang Fei.
Ji Li stated that she would first conduct an exclusive interview with Zhou Fang Fei, and Yan Hao agreed. Bai Liu Shuang kept an eye on the body double, and Li Ruo Yi joined them as well. Li Ruo Yi noted that Feng Yi Lun seemed indifferent to everything, but he was surprisingly focused on investigating the body double, indicating a special interest in Bai Liu Shuang.
Bai Liu Shuang remained silent. The body double arrived and entered a pharmacy. Bai Liu Shuang wanted to approach, but Li Ruo Yi suggested waiting until he came out since there could be people inside the pharmacy helping him. Bai Liu Shuang agreed.
The body double came out, and Li Ruo Yi and Bai Liu Shuang chased after him. The body double had already noticed someone following him and got into a fight with Bai Liu Shuang and the others. Bai Liu Shuang wasn't a match for him, but Feng Yi Lun arrived, and the body double injured Feng Yi Lun before escaping.
Li Ruo Yi returned and admitted that she couldn't catch up, allowing him to escape. Feng Yi Lun was injured, so Bai Liu Shuang took him to the hospital, stating that he had a dislocated waist and needed proper rest. Ji Li arrived and asked Feng Yi Lun about his injuries and how he was doing. Feng Yi Lun reassured her that he was fine.
Ji Li mentioned Zhou Fang Fei's situation and proposed giving Feng Yi Lun an opportunity to meet his idol. However, given Feng Yi Lun's current condition and inability to walk, he suggested that Ji Li go in his place. Ji Li met Zhou Fang Fei and inquired about her recent filming experiences.
Zhou Fang Fei mentioned that she used to be a singer, singing her husband's songs. She has been acting for several years now but is unsure if her decision back then was right or wrong. Ji Li felt that Zhou Fang Fei is a rare and genuine person in the film industry and expressed curiosity about the kind of person who could marry her.
Ji Li admitted that she is not good at writing but was simply curious. Zhou Fang Fei explained that her husband helped her build the flower house. At that time, he didn't have much money, so they rented this place and built everything themselves. Zhou Fang Fei only later discovered why her husband had injured hands during that period, which deeply moved her.
Madam Li spoke to Mr. Li about the matter of having children, mentioning that the family is urging them to have heirs. Mr. Li's plans require the support of the family, and he has looked into it. Although Miss Min is a dancer at the Bailemen, she has principles and is quite good. Mr. Li believes that there is no rush to have children and they can consult more doctors.
Madam Li was unhappy, stating that Mr. Li never considered her feelings. Each time she sees a doctor, there is hope, but it always ends in disappointment. Mr. Li reluctantly agreed. Miss Min told Madam Li that she is carrying Mr. Li's child and knows that they have a good relationship. Mr. Li learned that Miss Min had disappeared and despite searching, she couldn't be found. Madam Li believed that she hadn't been gone for long and couldn't have gone far. Miss Min returned and explained that she had gone out to buy things.
Madam Li felt that since she is carrying their child, even if she went shopping, she should have informed them and not run off without a word.
