Episode 3 recap: Feng Yi Lun investigated Cheng Yu Mei.
Cheng Yu Mei got injured while filming, and reporters all came to the hospital. After thinking for a moment, Feng Yi Lun stated that reporters couldn't enter at the moment, but patients could still go inside the hospital. Cheng Yu Mei was injured and there was a man with a very close relationship to her at the hospital.
Feng Yi Lun saw this from outside and captured it on camera. When Li Ruo Yi was injured while apprehending someone, he and his brothers went to Chen Shu Yu's place. Chen Shu Yu is currently working as a doctor there. Originally, Li Ruo Yi didn't want Chen Shu Yu to tend to his wounds, but Chen Shu Yu insisted, so Li Ruo Yi had no choice but to let her treat his injuries.
When Li Ruo Yi came out and saw Feng Yi Lun and the others, he noticed Ji Li's foot was in a cast and questioned how they got injured after just watching the commotion outside. Feng Yi Lun said they witnessed the commotion and then things happened. Li Ruo Yi didn't believe it and directly removed Ji Li's cast.
Ji Li didn't dare to say anything. Li Ruo Yi told them to leave and stop causing trouble. Shao Zui Weng mentioned to Cheng Yu Mei that he was going to the UK for business negotiations and would be gone for a month, asking her to take care of herself.
Chen Shu Yu was waiting at the police station entrance for Li Ruo Yi. When Li Ruo Yi saw Chen Shu Yu, he asked why she was there. Chen Shu Yu explained that she read in the newspaper about establishing a medical department in an important judicial institution and came for that matter.
Li Ruo Yi stated that it had nothing to do with Chen Shu Yu and told her not to get involved. Feng Yi Lun and Ji Li arrived at a cheongsam store and claimed to be Cheng Yu Mei's assistants, saying that Cheng Yu Mei left her earrings there.
The shop assistant said it was impossible because if there were earrings, they would have noticed. The shop assistant mentioned Boss Shao, but Feng Yi Lun and Ji Li didn't know who that was.
The shop assistant noticed something was wrong. If Feng Yi Lun and Ji Li were truly Cheng Yu Mei's assistants, they couldn't be unaware of Boss Shao, so the assistant chased them away.
Feng Yi Lun and Ji Li were having a meal there and felt that they should investigate further. Ji Li went out to buy something but ended up encountering people from the casino who stole their belongings. Ji Li was caught and taken away for interrogation and torture. Feng Yi Lun noticed that Ji Li hadn't returned for a long time, so he came to inquire and learned that Ji Li had been taken away by Hu Yi Qiang's henchmen. Hu Yi Qiang was Mr. Lin's trusted aide, and everyone was afraid of him.
Li Ruo Yi happened to come there and witnessed the situation. The boss of the restaurant where Liu Xiao Nan worked came to report that Liu Xiao Nan had gone missing and hadn't shown up for work for many days. Li Ruo Yi and the others investigated but couldn't find any clues. Feng Yi Lun approached Li Ruo Yi and informed him about Ji Li being captured. Li Ruo Yi informed the detective that he wanted to investigate the Lin family, but the detective scolded him, questioning if he thought he could investigate the Lin family just like that.
Mr. Lin had a banquet in the evening, and Feng Yi Lun managed to obtain an invitation and disguised himself as a guard to enter. He then rescued Ji Li. When Feng Yi Lun and Ji Li came out, they coincidentally saw Cheng Yu Mei in an intimate pose with a man and captured it on camera.
Feng Yi Lun approached Li Ruo Yi and mentioned that he had another friend who had also gone missing. He showed Li Ruo Yi a photo. Li Ruo Yi noted that the license plate was blurry and required technical processing. He offered to help and asked Feng Yi Lun to return first.
After investigating the license plate, Li Ruo Yi's subordinates revealed that the woman was Cheng Yu Mei. Feng Yi Lun and Ji Li followed Cheng Yu Mei and discovered that she was seeing off Shao Zui Weng, capturing the moment on camera.
Li Ruo Yi approached Feng Yi Lun and revealed that the person was Shao Zui Weng, the owner of Tianyi Entertainment, and he was married to Cheng Yu Mei. Li Ruo Yi questioned what exactly Feng Yi Lun intended to do.
