Episode 5 recap: Autumn Dew seeks revenge on Cheng Yu Mei.
Sun Min said that she and Cheng Yu Mei were on-screen lovers and explained the situation to Autumn Dew, but Autumn Dew didn't believe her. Autumn Dew previously mentioned that she was a foster child and that nobody played with her except Sun Min, who treated her well. However, now that Autumn Dew is not doing well, Sun Min won't stand in her way anymore. Feng Yi Lun asked Sun Min if she knew that Cheng Yu Mei's husband was his boss. Sun Min said she only found out later.
After Chen Shu Yu dressed up, she went to find the inspector and said that she should now meet the inspector's requirements. The inspector told Chen Shu Yu to stop causing trouble, as there were no vacancies in the patrol station. Chen Shu Yu presented the approval document from the hospital, leaving the inspector with no further objections.
Feng Yi Lun encountered a woman on the road who said she had sprained her ankle. She asked if Feng Yi Lun could take her to the train station, and Feng Yi Lun agreed. Li Ruo Yi and her men caught up and asked why Feng Yi Lun was there. Feng Yi Lun said he was doing a good deed.
On his way back, Feng Yi Lun was beaten up by someone, and Li Ruo Yi happened to pass by and saved him. Mr. Lin ordered his subordinates to remove the silk factory. They were shocked, as it was their most profitable business. Mr. Lin said that when sending people away, one must send the best, and he asked them to raise the workers' wages by one unit.

If they could help solve this matter, the higher-ups would naturally be pleased. Feng Yi Lun stayed in the hospital, and San Jie came to visit him. Shao Zui Weng understood and asked Autumn Dew to promise not to harm Cheng Yu Mei again, and he wouldn't report her.
