Episode 3 recap: Xie Ping An accidentally entered the Peach Blossom Village.
Bao Ge led the villagers to find Wu Jiu. Wu Jiu ran out while fastening his clothes and opened the door. The villagers said he had run into the Enchanting Forest. Wu Jiu explained that he had been sleeping and wanted to be lazy at home, but he didn't expect to be discovered by them. Bao Ge didn't believe him and went straight to his room, opening the cupboard to search for things. Fan Wu Jiu was originally worried about being found out about the girl, so he lied and said he was sick and didn't want to go out, just wanting to be lazy and hide at home.
After Bao Ge didn't find anything suspicious, he advised Wu Jiu to seek treatment for his illness and left. After Bao Ge left, Fan Wu Jiu found the girl under the bed. Her face covered in dirt startled Fan Wu Jiu. She crawled out and asked where she was and who he was. She wanted to leave this place quickly. Fan Wu Jiu, seeing her covered in dirt, prepared ginger soup for her and offered his clothes for her to change into.
After washing her face, the girl revealed a beautiful appearance. Her name was Xie Ping An, and she came from a village outside, where there was war everywhere. Fan Wu Jiu said that there had never been any war here. Xie Ping An was surprised to find such a peaceful place like Peach Blossom Village. She had been chased during her escape and unexpectedly got rescued in the forest by a person.
Xie Ping An drank the ginger soup, and Fan Wu Jiu asked her if it tasted good and if she was feeling better. Xie Ping An took a sip and found it delicious, but soon she felt dizzy. She realized that Fan Wu Jiu had drugged her.
