Episode 6 recap: Xie Ping An was exposed as an outsider by Meng Po.
Xie Ping An took the hairpin and looked at it, feeling a sense of familiarity. She mentioned that this hairpin was selling well in Qiantang and wondered how it ended up here. Fan Wu Jiu finally confirmed his speculation that Zhu Meng and Qian Laoban must know the way out of the village. He needed to verify his clues from the previous day, so he asked Xie Ping An about the appearance of the village outside. Xie Ping An described it as bustling, with a heavenly paradise above and Qiantang below. There are delicious food and fun activities there, and it's especially lively during festivals. At another table, Zhu Meng's wife was nagging him, criticizing him for being incompetent. The two of them started fighting in front of their child. Zhu Meng knocked off Xie Ping An's hat, revealing her unfamiliar face, which caused the villagers to start gossiping.

Zhu Meng continued to drown his sorrows in the restaurant, while Fan Wu Jiu reminded Xie Ping An to be more discreet. Outsiders were not allowed here, and Zhu Meng's wife couldn't leave the village either.
As the two of them chatted, Meng Po appeared behind Fan Wu Jiu, startling Xie Ping An. Meng Po directly stated that this girl came from the outside, and just as she finished speaking, news of Zhu Meng's death spread from inside the restaurant.
