Episode 27 recap: Liu Meng Li investigated the ancient scriptures.
Someone from the demon clan reported that recently they saw the combined power of the dual swords, Xihe and Wangshu, at the Qionghua Sect. Liu Meng Li expressed a desire to investigate the Purple Gold Stone, but Feng Changge pointed out the challenge of searching through the vast collection of scriptures. Liu Meng Li discovered a record that wearing the Imperial Jade by a demon could suppress their demonic energy.
The gathering of these individuals brought great joy. Yun Tian He felt they had already discussed and decided that they would stay together. They also encountered Jingxin, and Liu Meng Li felt the genuine bond between father and daughter. Jingxin mentioned that she wouldn't remember this event once she left and that she was the Lotus Treasure, meant to accompany Xia Yunchen throughout his life.
Even the fox demon was surprised and expressed admiration for their unwavering determination despite experiencing numerous separations and farewells. Yun Tian He used the Yun Tuntian Yue Bow to once again confine the fox demon within the Guanghanji realm. Xia Yuanchen believed that Yun Tian He was the rightful owner of the bow and gave it to him.
A report from the demon clan mentioned that there were signs of the Xihuan and Wangshu dual swords being combined at the Qionghua Sect. Liu Meng Li recalled past events and expressed the determination of the demon clan to seek revenge for the deaths of their many members. Xi Zhong advised Liu Meng Li to prioritize their own health, as their old injuries were not fully healed, and offered a remedy. Liu Meng Li agreed that the treatment was effective.
Xi Zhong believed that the upcoming 19-year war with the Qionghua Sect was imminent, and they needed manpower as many of their people had already perished. Liu Meng Li understood Xi Zhong's intention, which was to release Gui Xie. It was explained that Gui Xie still carried the resentment of the demon spirits, and keeping him confined was a way to protect him from being controlled by that resentment, ultimately for Gui Xie's own good.
Unexpectedly, Gui Xie was released and expressed surprise at being able to be contained in the first place. Liu Meng Li intended to send Gui Xie back, but he adamantly refused, stating his determination for revenge. Yun Tian He believed that the clue to the Kunlin's Scale was likely in the Qingfeng Pavilion, while Mu Rong Zi Ying emphasized the importance of returning the Guanghanji realm to its rightful place.
Liu Meng Li heard the voice again and wanted to go to the Qingfeng Pavilion to search. Yun Tian He felt that delivering the drawing was not as important as Liu Meng Li's task, so they decided to go to the Qingfeng Pavilion together. Gui Xie arrived and encountered the people there.
They explained that they had been searching for a long time but couldn't find any trace of the young master. Feng Changge brought flowers to give to Dili, but she didn't like him at all. Mu Rong Zi Ying expressed that since childhood, they had always believed in exterminating demons and monsters, and they would be uncomfortable in a place where humans and demons coexisted. They decided to wait outside for the others.

Feng Changge mentioned the abundance of scriptures and expressed uncertainty about how to find what Liu Meng Li was looking for. Liu Meng Li insisted on taking a look. They came across a record that previously had a missing half-page, but now the other half-page appeared. It mentioned that a demon wearing the Imperial Jade could suppress demonic energy.
Liu Meng Li was astonished by the discovery in the records. They found a person in the painting but suddenly fainted. Han Ling Sha and the others were concerned, and Feng Changge examined Liu Meng Li and confirmed they were fine.
When Liu Meng Li regained consciousness, they learned that only they could see the half-page paper. Liu Meng Li decided they should return now since Mu Rong Zi Ying had been waiting outside all night and must be worried. Yun Tian He and the others agreed to go back.
