Episode 11 recap: Bai Kang discovered that Blue is a monster.
After A Jiu defeated the Wolf Poison Monster, Han Ye invited him to go back together to receive a reward from Prince Ye. However, A Jiu wanted to leave the Shangqing Bureau as soon as possible, so he refused Han Ye and resumed his identity to find Blue. The alchemist was already about to find Blue, but Blue was called away, which made him suspect that his sense of smell was wrong.
A Jiu gave Blue a bouquet of flowers, and they went to release sky lanterns together, making a lifelong commitment to each other. A Jiu specifically gave Blue a sachet, instructing her to wear it at all times because the scent of the sachet can prevent Blue's smell from being detected. Prince Ye inquired about the alchemist's discovery and learned that the alchemist had made a mistake, but his doubts were not completely eliminated.
Bai Kang guarded the medicine shop and secretly took out his cherished liquor and drank until he was drunk. By chance, he saw A Jiu talking to a pot of Isatis indigotica, which made him realize that Blue is a monster. He couldn't believe it and slapped himself hard, trying to convince himself that he was dreaming. However, the next day, he soberly realized that this was probably true and couldn't help but consider whether to expose Blue's identity to the Shangqing Bureau.
Blue and A Jiu were both seeing patients. Many patients gathered in front of the Bai Cao Tang (Hundred Herbs Hall), but Bai Kang was lost in thought. Blue had to remind him to hand over the medicine before he snapped out of it. Blue noticed that something was wrong with Bai Kang and mentioned it to A Jiu. However, A Jiu thought that Bai Kang just didn't want to disturb their affection and didn't think much of it. In reality, after they left, Bai Kang struggled with whether or not to report the matter to the Shangqing Bureau.
