Episode 22 recap: "The Conspiracy of Prince Ye.
Blue saw that A Jiu refused to use the Heartless Sword to kill her openly, in order to not hurt her. This touched Blue's heart, but regardless of their past lives or present, they were destined to be enemies. So Blue took the initiative to sever their spiritual bond and asked A Jiu to see their entanglement as nothing more than a big dream. A Jiu couldn't accept this reason, and if given the choice, he would rather die together with Blue. Tearfully, Blue rejected A Jiu and warned him that if he came looking for her, he would be killed by her.
Prince Ye looked at a withered lotus in the room and once again confirmed with Yuan Xiang if she was willing to sacrifice. Yuan Xiang, with tears flowing, expressed her willingness, because if it weren't for Prince Ye saving her from the abyss, she would have long been trampled upon like a worthless person.
