Episode 7 recap: A Jiu wants Blue to leave Beiming.
Ning'er came to Beiming because her father died and her mother remarried. She came to Beiming to seek refuge with her grandmother. Little did she know that as soon as she crossed Beiming Mountain, she was cold and hungry. Fortunately, she was taken in by the Li couple at the foot of Beiming Mountain, where she finally had a meal. Just as she settled in the Li couple's house for a few days, someone knocked on their door while they were having a meal. As soon as Li Hanzi opened the door, he was killed. Ning'er was frightened and quickly hid, witnessing the whole process of the person committing the crime. Although she didn't see his face clearly, she remembered that he was an official, and there was a special mark on his clothes.
A Jiu is certain that the Li couple at the foot of Beiming Mountain were not harmed by the Ling Zhi spirits.
