Episode 8 recap: Blue married Huang Qi.
A Jiu discovered that Blue was missing and worried that she had been captured by the Shangqing Sect. He hurriedly went to the Shangqing Sect to inquire about the situation and learned that no spirit creatures had been captured today. He then turned and left. Prince Ye happened to see A Jiu leaving and questioned him about the reason for his visit to the Shangqing Sect. Upon learning that he was asking about the capture of spirit creatures that day, Prince Ye suspected his involvement in the disappearance case of Ling Zhi. He asked about the events of that night and learned from Han Ye that A Jiu not only entered the Medicine Repository but also stayed there for a long time. This immediately raised suspicions, and he ordered someone to closely monitor Bai Cao Tang.
Blue was released from a sack and discovered that she was captured by Wu Tou. She couldn't help but curse in anger. Wu Tou was acting on the orders of the Elder, so naturally, he didn't take Blue seriously. He also informed Blue that she was betrothed to Huang Qi. Seeing the unattractive appearance of Huang Qi, Blue felt extremely frustrated. Wu Tou brought Blue back to the Herbalist Village, where, under the supervision of the Elder, Blue was betrothed to Huang Qi, while she disguised herself as Blue and waited for A Jiu to take the bait.

Wu Tou then revealed her true form and demanded that A Jiu submit to her, promising him a lifetime of wealth and prosperity.
Blue didn't like Huang Qi, but the Elder insisted on her marrying him. Fortunately, she secretly rescued herself, and A Jiu regained consciousness at a critical moment, stopping the wedding from proceeding.
