Episode 12 recap: Bai Lang and Mu Di finally made up.
Mu Di and Xu Huan confided in each other, and Xu Huan apologized to Mu Di. They reconciled and became as close as before. Mu Di and his classmates, including Ding Yi, wore school uniforms and returned to high school. The classmates gathered together, chatting and laughing. Bai Lang and his group also appeared in their school uniforms, but their uniforms were disheveled, making them look like troublemakers. Mu Di asked them to wear their uniforms properly. Then, William arrived on a motorcycle, attracting the attention of many female classmates with his handsome appearance.
The group disguised the engagement scene as a gathering of classmates, waiting for the arrival of the main characters. When the main characters arrived, everyone cheered, and nothing was exposed. While eating, Qu Wen Wen, one of the bosses, also arrived. William introduced Qu Wen Wen to everyone, and she sat next to William.
On the way home, Ding Yi comforted and persuaded Xu Huan, and she finally let go of her worries. Ding Yi was very relieved. After the drinking session, everyone was quite drunk. In the end, Qu Wen Wen gave William a ride, and Bai Lang accompanied Mu Di.

Upon hearing Mu Di's sleeping sounds, Mu's mother and father felt relieved. Mu's mother asked Bai Lang how Mu Di ended up drunk like this. Bai Lang explained everything about the engagement ceremony organized by the company that day and said that he would take Mu Di home once she woke up. Only then did Mu's mother agree to hang up the phone.
However, Mu's mother was still worried, so she called Mu Tong, hoping that she could go and bring Mu Di back. Mu Tong didn't think there would be any problems and felt even more reassured when she found out it was Bai Lang, who had a good relationship with Mu Di. However, Mu's mother still had concerns, so Mu Tong reluctantly agreed to contact Bai Lang later.
Mu Tong mentioned this matter to Wei Zaidong, and Wei Zaidong remembered Bai Lang. Mu Tong asked for Wei Zaidong's impression of Bai Lang, and Wei Zaidong thought Bai Lang was good and had a sharp mind. When Mu Tong heard this, it was completely different from the description of Bai Lang given by Mu Di, and she found Bai Lang interesting.
Finally, Mu Di woke up, and Bai Lang told her about the phone calls from Mu's mother and Mu Tong, urging her to call her family back quickly.
