Episode 12 recap: Bai Lang and Mu Di finally made up.

Mu Di and Xu Huan confided in each other, and Xu Huan apologized to Mu Di. They reconciled and became as close as before. Mu Di and his classmates, including Ding Yi, wore school uniforms and returned to high school. The classmates gathered together, chatting and laughing. Bai Lang and his group also appeared in their school uniforms, but their uniforms were disheveled, making them look like troublemakers. Mu Di asked them to wear their uniforms properly. Then, William arrived on a motorcycle, attracting the attention of many female classmates with his handsome appearance.

The group disguised the engagement scene as a gathering of classmates, waiting for the arrival of the main characters. When the main characters arrived, everyone cheered, and nothing was exposed. After a while, their former teacher also arrived. Ding Yi, the class monitor, asked everyone to stand up, and they did so. The teacher gave a speech, and then the pre-edited proposal video was played according to the plan. Zhang Na was deeply moved. After the video ended, Sun Kai took out a bouquet of roses, knelt down on one knee in front of Zhang Na, and everyone cheered. Zhang Na accepted the roses and said the words: "I do." Sun Kai put the ring on Zhang Na's finger, which touched everyone's hearts.

Outside the classroom, William confronted Xu Huan and warned her not to harm Mu Di behind his back. Xu Huan was hurt by these words and accused William of being privileged and mocked him as a parasite in his family. They argued, and Ding Yi came out and sent William away. He then caught up with the injured Xu Huan, who cried in sadness. Ding Yi comforted her, and with his playful jokes, Xu Huan's mood improved. They went back together.

Mu Di thanked the teacher for being willing to help them, and the teacher encouraged her. After the teacher left, Mu Di and Bai Lang, who had come out, smiled at each other in the corridor. During the meal, William invited Bai Lang to join the company and offered to give them a 10% share. When the company earned one million, the share would increase to 50%. Bai Lang remained silent for a while and said that he considered the small town as his own child, so he was willing to help William and his team for free. The other brothers also supported all of Bai Lang's decisions.

While eating, Qu Wen Wen, one of the bosses, also arrived. William introduced Qu Wen Wen to everyone, and she sat next to William.

On the way home, Ding Yi comforted and persuaded Xu Huan, and she finally let go of her worries. Ding Yi was very relieved. After the drinking session, everyone was quite drunk. In the end, Qu Wen Wen gave William a ride, and Bai Lang accompanied Mu Di.

In the car, Bai Lang took a photo of Mu Di, who was drunk, and as he looked at Mu Di's sleeping face, Bai Lang smiled. Mu Di didn't come home for a long time, and Mu's mother was very worried. She wanted to call Mu Di to check on him. Bai Lang, who was mopping the floor, happened to answer Mu Di's phone. When Mu's mother, upon hearing a male voice, asked who it was, Bai Lang said he was Mu Di's friend and that Mu Di was at his place. This panicked Mu's mother, who asked Bai Lang to pass the phone to Mu Di. Bai Lang, panting, said that Mu Di couldn't answer the phone at the moment and that he would have Mu Di call her back later because he was busy. Mu's mother misunderstood and started warning Bai Lang not to touch her daughter, threatening to fight him if he did. Bai Lang knew that Mu's mother had misunderstood, so he placed the phone next to Mu Di, who was snoring while sleeping, to prove his innocence. Upon hearing Mu Di's sleeping sounds, Mu's mother and father felt relieved. Mu's mother asked Bai Lang how Mu Di ended up drunk like this. Bai Lang explained everything about the engagement ceremony organized by the company that day and said that he would take Mu Di home once she woke up. Only then did Mu's mother agree to hang up the phone.

However, Mu's mother was still worried, so she called Mu Tong, hoping that she could go and bring Mu Di back. Mu Tong didn't think there would be any problems and felt even more reassured when she found out it was Bai Lang, who had a good relationship with Mu Di. However, Mu's mother still had concerns, so Mu Tong reluctantly agreed to contact Bai Lang later.

Mu Tong mentioned this matter to Wei Zaidong, and Wei Zaidong remembered Bai Lang. Mu Tong asked for Wei Zaidong's impression of Bai Lang, and Wei Zaidong thought Bai Lang was good and had a sharp mind. When Mu Tong heard this, it was completely different from the description of Bai Lang given by Mu Di, and she found Bai Lang interesting.

Finally, Mu Di woke up, and Bai Lang told her about the phone calls from Mu's mother and Mu Tong, urging her to call her family back quickly. Mu Di started to play the victim, asking Bai Lang why he didn't take her home. Bai Lang reminded her of what happened in the car, and Mu Di recalled her drunken state, feeling extremely embarrassed.
