Episode 6 recap: William and Ding Yi competed for Mu Di.
After sending William away, Mu Di went upstairs. Mu's parents also saw William downstairs and asked Mu Di who he was. Mu Di was speechless and said that he was the blind date she introduced. Mu's mother asked Mu Di if she liked William or Ding Yi, and Mu Di said she didn't like anyone.
Mu Di came to the company to inspect the situation. Bai Lang said they hadn't earned a penny for several days. Bai Lang said all they could do was comfort the family and help with the aftermath, allowing the deceased to rest in peace. That was the greatest comfort they could provide. Mu Di was moved by his words and understood the difficulties of Bai Lang's work.
Mu Di went to the rehearsal room and heard the beautiful performance of a pipa (a Chinese stringed instrument) played by a beautician from a beauty salon. When she went in, she asked the beautician why she chose to work in a beauty salon when she played the pipa so well. The beautician helplessly replied that it was to make a living. In the evening, Bai Lang and Huang Jin confronted Shen Debao's car and gave it a beating, but they were caught by the police. They were taken to the police station. Bai Lang tried to get close to Ding Yi, hoping he wouldn't send them to the police station. Ding Yi lectured them, and Bai Lang was defiant. At that moment, Shen Debao entered and signed a letter of understanding with a very friendly attitude. Bai Lang understood that it was all thanks to Ding Yi's efforts and sincerely thanked him, wishing Ding Yi and Mu Di a lifetime of happiness together.
William waited downstairs at Mu Di's house every day, hoping to invite her for coffee and talk about music. Mu Di didn't want to engage with him, but William was sincere. Mu Di reluctantly agreed to sit down and have a proper conversation with him when she had some free time in a couple of days.
