Episode 6 recap: William and Ding Yi competed for Mu Di.

After sending William away, Mu Di went upstairs. Mu's parents also saw William downstairs and asked Mu Di who he was. Mu Di was speechless and said that he was the blind date she introduced. Mu's mother asked Mu Di if she liked William or Ding Yi, and Mu Di said she didn't like anyone.

Mu Di came to the company to inspect the situation. Bai Lang said they hadn't earned a penny for several days. Mu Di said she could play the suona (a Chinese wind instrument) and told him to go out and find work quickly. Bai Lang was speechless and prepared to leave. Mu Di said she would accompany him all day and followed him out. Ding Yi, who was waiting at the door, approached Mu Di and invited her to have lunch, but Mu Di refused. William also arrived and said he was a fan of Mu Di, inviting her to get in the car. Ding Yi was unhappy, and an argument ensued between the two. Mu Di directly got into Bai Lang's car, leaving the two of them staring at each other. William followed Bai Lang and Mu Di in his car. Mu Di asked Bai Lang to get rid of William, and Bai Lang complied. After parking the car, Bai Lang said he had important matters to attend to and asked Mu Di to leave, but Mu Di refused and insisted on staying with Bai Lang. The hospital was dark, and Mu Di was scared. She tightly held onto Bai Lang's arm. After going upstairs, Bai Lang approached a woman who was crying and comforted her. He then tried to sell his company's services to them but was chased away by another man.

In the stairwell, Mu Di said it was cruel of Bai Lang to discuss business when someone's family member had just passed away. Bai Lang said all they could do was comfort the family and help with the aftermath, allowing the deceased to rest in peace. That was the greatest comfort they could provide. Mu Di was moved by his words and understood the difficulties of Bai Lang's work.

Mu Di went to the rehearsal room and heard the beautiful performance of a pipa (a Chinese stringed instrument) played by a beautician from a beauty salon. When she went in, she asked the beautician why she chose to work in a beauty salon when she played the pipa so well. The beautician helplessly replied that it was to make a living. Then she asked Mu Di why she joined the troupe. Mu Di said she came to enjoy the performances and shared the story of what happened at the hospital that day. The beautician comforted her, and Mu Di's feelings of sadness were somewhat relieved, and she was inspired.

The next day, Mu Di approached the couple again and apologized to them. She said she made a short video for them as a gift for their daughter, who liked the saxophone. The mother of the girl cried in sadness. Finally, the girl's mother decided to entrust the memorial service to the "Story of the Small Town." Bai Lang and others were shocked and immediately took action. In the end, the memorial service was successfully completed, and the girl's parents were very grateful for the excellent arrangement of the memorial service. Mu Di still felt sad about the girl's passing, but Bai Lang comforted her, saying that cherishing the present moment was the greatest meaning in life.

In the car, Bai Lang instinctively handed his bag to Mu Di to get something to eat. Unexpectedly, when Mu Di opened the bag, she found a stack of hundred-yuan bills. Bai Lang wanted to explain, but Mu Di directly pocketed the three thousand yuan.

Shen Debao couldn't retain customers due to the fishing boat and came to ask Bai Lang for a refund. Bai Lang stubbornly refused to refund the money, making baseless arguments. Shen Debao threatened to give them a bad review, forcing Bai Lang to agree to the refund. Shen Debao left in anger.

Xu Huan asked Mu Di if William was pursuing her, and Mu Di explained the blind date situation to her. Xu Huan made her swear not to be with William, and Mu Di complied. Shen Debao, being cunning and treacherous, received the refund but still left negative reviews about Bai Lang's company. Bai Lang was infuriated and decided to take drastic measures against Shen Debao.

In the evening, Bai Lang and Huang Jin confronted Shen Debao's car and gave it a beating, but they were caught by the police. They were taken to the police station. Bai Lang tried to get close to Ding Yi, hoping he wouldn't send them to the police station. Ding Yi lectured them, and Bai Lang was defiant. At that moment, Shen Debao entered and signed a letter of understanding with a very friendly attitude. Bai Lang understood that it was all thanks to Ding Yi's efforts and sincerely thanked him, wishing Ding Yi and Mu Di a lifetime of happiness together.

William waited downstairs at Mu Di's house every day, hoping to invite her for coffee and talk about music. Mu Di didn't want to engage with him, but William was sincere. Mu Di reluctantly agreed to sit down and have a proper conversation with him when she had some free time in a couple of days.
