Episode 1 recap: Yue Qi met Luo Zhaoyan for the first time, and Yue Qi was recognized as the Lord of the Mists.

Legend has it that the Lord of the Mists is an ancient giant beast called Kun, which has been wandering in the sky with the power to destroy the world. The human sect Qiyuan Sect regards the Lord of the Mists as the supreme being and brings calamity to the world. Various major sects, led by the Luo Family Village, are searching everywhere for the whereabouts of the Lord of the Mists in order to exterminate it. The Lord of the Mists is on the verge of losing control due to absorbing a large amount of dark energy, and the believers of the Qiyuan Sect are turning into stone statues en masse. A catastrophe is imminent.

The expert in charge of the Drive Realm Axis commanded his subordinate, Xiao Huan, to awaken Qi and send her to the mortal world to save the people. A small pink Kun emerged in the sky, swimming in the vast sky. After floating for a while, it landed and transformed into a mischievous and spirited young girl. She looked ahead and saw a handsome man's figure gradually appearing and disappearing in the void. The girl joyfully called out "Master."

However, the man's figure remained elusive and did not reveal his true appearance. Faced with the girl's enthusiastic call, the man said, "Qi, the origin of your sword intent lies in your thoughts. Do you know the mission of wielding a sword?" The girl named Qi answered, "Wielding a sword means killing people, but she doesn't want to kill." As a result, Qi was bound by her master's spell, immobilizing her. Struggling and shouting for her master, Qi suddenly woke up, realizing that she had just had a dream.

Upon opening her eyes, she saw the handsome face of Yue Jin Zhao, so she complained that he had disturbed her beautiful dream, saying that if it wasn't for him causing trouble, she wouldn't have dreamed of her master. Yue Jin Zhao reproached her for being ungrateful, as he had taken care of her diligently for three years, but she kept obsessing over a master who didn't even exist.

However, Yue Qi earnestly said that she really had a highly skilled master; otherwise, where did her abilities come from? After saying that, she tried to hit him, but Yue Jin Zhao quickly dodged, claiming to be her big brother. Yue Qi argued that when she woke up in Wuyan Village, it was clearly the same day, so how could he claim to be older than her? Today was their shared birthday, and Yue Qi demanded that Yue Jin Zhao treat her to egg noodles. The most delicious thing she could think of was a bowl of fragrant egg noodles.

Yue Jin Zhao took Yue Qi to Yinghui Fortress. Yue Qi acted like a rascal and finished a bowl of egg noodles, while Yue Jin Zhao only drank the remaining soup. After the meal, Yue Jin Zhao took out a portrait he had seen with his left eye and said that it was a person he predicted to have a connection with their origins.

Yue Qi was attracted by a jade pendant on a street vendor's stall, so she got separated from Yue Jin Zhao. Suddenly, a horse got frightened and charged towards a young boy on the street. Yue Qi quickly rushed ahead and carried the child away before the horse could reach him. The man in red who was chasing after the horse also arrived and managed to stop the startled horse. The man in red expressed his gratitude to Yue Qi. She noticed that the person before her was wearing red clothes and had his black hair tied up high, just like the person depicted in Yue Jin Zhao's painting. The man in red took out a silver ingot and presented it to Yue Qi as a token of gratitude for saving the boy.

At that moment, followers of the Qiyuan Sect were causing trouble in the streets and persuading people to donate money for accumulating merit. The sect's Mengjiao envoy saw Yue Qi and quickly compared her to a portrait he had. He realized that she was one of the people depicted in the portrait and approached her to strike up a conversation. The man in red was worried that Yue Qi would fall into a trap, so he intervened to stop her. He criticized the Qiyuan Sect for deceiving the people and greedily accumulating wealth. The Mengjiao envoy arrived with his followers to argue with the man in red. Yue Jin Zhao deliberately got into a dispute with the man in red, pretending to defend the Qiyuan Sect. Yue Jin Zhao persuaded the Mengjiao envoy to leave, while he stayed behind and engaged in a fight with the man in red. After the crowd dispersed, Yue Jin Zhao and the man in red showed respect to each other. It turned out that Yue Jin Zhao's actions were a deliberate act for the Mengjiao envoy's benefit. The three of them introduced themselves to each other and Yue Qi learned that the man in red was Luo Zhaoyan, the head of the Luo Family.

To find out the secrets of the Qiyuan Sect, Yue Jin Zhao decided to take Yue Qi and infiltrate the sect's Fugintang. Luo Zhaoyan stood guard outside while Yue Jin Zhao and Yue Qi pretended to be brought in to meet Gao Xiao, the chief of the Qiyuan Sect. However, the Mengjiao envoy deceived them along the way and imprisoned them in a corridor, while he went to find Gao Xiao. When Gao Xiao learned that Yue Qi had been captured, he became excited and wanted to go inform the esteemed official of the Qiyuan Sect. Fortunately, Luo Zhaoyan rescued the two of them. The three of them worked together to create chaos in Fugintang and encountered the mythical beast, the Giant Kun. Yue Qi felt a sense of familiarity with it.

During the fight, they accidentally knocked over the Qiyuan Pearl, causing numerous soul fish to appear in the air. Surprisingly, these soul fish merged with Yue Qi, and according to legends, only the Lord of the Mists could merge with these soul fish. Gao Xiao and the others immediately kneeled before Yue Qi. However, Yue Jin Zhao and Yue Qi couldn't believe what was happening and Yue Qi urged Yue Jin Zhao to quickly save her.
