Episode 11 recap: Yue Jin Zhao and Yue Qi's first kiss, everyone rushed to the Zhengwu Alliance.
Coming out of the Pure Spring, Ju Shi Fang couldn't rest assured about Wang Chen Si Ming's words. She had said that among their group, two people would not live long. Gu Chunjiang came over to persuade everyone not to believe in fate. He said that destiny is not unchangeable. He pointed to a dying tree in front of them and said that if he were to move it to a place where it's exposed to sunlight, water it, fertilize it, and prune its branches and leaves, it would be saved. If left to its own devices, it would have a different fate. Yue Qi understood Gu Chunjiang's words and realized that as long as there is a slight change in the external world, Wang Chen Si Ming's words would change. Gu Chunjiang praised Yue Qi for her quick thinking. Ju Shi Fang, upon hearing this, finally let go of her worries, and Yue Qi happily left with him.
Gu Chunjiang noticed that Yue Jin Zhao hadn't left and seemed lost in thought, so he approached him and struck up a conversation. He asked Yue Jin Zhao about his relationship with Yue Qi and when he learned the telepathy technique. Yue Jin Zhao told him that they woke up together in Wu Yan Village and learned the technique upon waking up. He then asked Gu Chunjiang why he taught Yue Qi to be independent. Gu Chunjiang said that Yue Qi would grow up someday and understood that in her world, it wouldn't be just the two of them. He also advised Yue Jin Zhao that the telepathy technique would strengthen when their bond deepens.
Yue Jin Zhao firmly believed that Yue Qi and himself would never be separated. When he saw Yue Qi, he asked her the same question, and her answer was affirmative. She said that no matter where she goes, she will always be with Yue Jin Zhao. Yue Jin Zhao told Yue Qi about Gu Chunjiang's words and suggested that they deepen their relationship to enhance the technique. The two of them went outdoors and expressed their feelings towards the moon in the sky. Yue Jin Zhao used ancient poetry to subtly convey his emotions to Yue Qi, but she couldn't understand at all. Instead, she flew with Yue Jin Zhao on a sword. Yue Jin Zhao made numerous mental preparations to kiss Yue Qi, but seeing her innocent and carefree expression, he didn't know where to start. Unexpectedly, their lips accidentally touched, which excited Yue Jin Zhao, but Yue Qi showed no romantic feelings. Blushing and with a racing heart, Yue Jin Zhao escaped to his room.
Gu Chunjiang was busy divining, and Ming Xiu brought him some snacks. Ming Xiu complained that the master had cut down the hibiscus tree he had specially planted for her, which made her very sad. Gu Chunjiang explained that he cut down the tree to let Ming Xiu focus on her cultivation and leave him after succeeding. He got up and instructed Ming Xiu to rest early. In an instant, Ming Xiu hugged Gu Chunjiang's waist and once again expressed her feelings for him, saying that she didn't want to leave as a disciple and wanted to stay by his side to take care of him for the rest of her life.
Gu Chunjiang stood still for a while, then decisively pulled away from Ming Xiu's embrace, stating that it was impossible. However, Ming Xiu stubbornly said that she would not give up.
Yue Jin Zhao was still savoring his first kiss with Yue Qi when he suddenly had a vision of the Zhengwu Alliance. He went to find Ju Shi Fang to learn more about the alliance and expressed that it was time to meet up with Luo Zhao Yan.
Gu Chunjiang instructed Ming Xiu to accompany Yue Jin Zhao and the others to the Zhengwu Alliance, but Ming Xiu didn't want to leave Gu Chunjiang. Just then, Xian Qing came in, and Gu Chunjiang asked him to reconcile with Ming Xiu and take good care of her. On their way to the Zhengwu Alliance, the group stopped to eat, but Ju Shi Fang was burdened with worries. He didn't want to go back and felt that it would be difficult to explain his lack of achievements.
Yue Jin Zhao said that he should be credited for their journey, which made Ju Shi Fang happy. Suddenly, someone reported that the Qi Yuan Sect was causing trouble up ahead, and everyone rushed to the scene. A disciple named Lu, who had lost control, was holding his own daughter hostage, demanding that Zuo Guan Ren from the Zhengwu Alliance come out, accusing him of killing Qi Yuan Sect's disciples and sabotaging the holy teachings.
Zuo Guan Ren came out with his men and sternly rebuked the disciple for his nonsensical accusations. However, the immediate priority was to rescue the innocent little girl. To avoid agitating Lu, Yue Jin Zhao pretended to be a disciple of the Qi Yuan Sect and gained his trust, successfully rescuing the girl safely.
The crowd cheered in celebration. Lu was captured by the Zhengwu Alliance members. Gao Xiao, who had been eavesdropping, berated Meng Jiao Shi for his incompetence. Upon seeing Yue Jin Zhao and the others arrive at the Zhengwu Alliance, Gao Xiao became angry and decided to sow discord between them and the alliance, hoping to instigate infighting.
Ming Xiu gently comforted the young girl, and Xian Qing knew that she must have been reminded of her own childhood. Ming Xiu had a vision of her mother dying in the chaos of war and being saved by her master.
