Episode 5 recap: "The sub-branch of the Qiyuan Sect, the Cup Smashing Faction, was destroyed, and Yue Qi was poisoned while trying to save Doctor Bian Luo Huan.

Yue Qi told Luo Zhao Yan that she felt a strong sense of familiarity with Doctor Bian. Luo Zhao Yan asked her how she was familiar with him, and Yue Qi thought for a moment and said it felt like being with Yue Jin Zhao. Luo Zhao Yan found it strange because Yue Jin Zhao was straightforward and quick-witted, while Doctor Bian was calm and wise. Their styles were different, so Yue Qi's feeling could only mean that she had met Doctor Bian before.

Yue Qi couldn't explain it clearly, so Luo Zhao Yan asked if she knew about Rehai. Yue Qi said she didn't know much, and Luo Zhao Yan reminded her not to tell anyone about their conversation. Yue Qi replied that if Yue Jin Zhao asked, she would tell him because he wasn't just anyone.

After Doctor Bian returned, he listened outside for a while and then interrupted their conversation. Luo Zhao Yan wanted to say goodbye but suddenly felt unwell and achy all over her body. Doctor Bian examined her, and at first, she wanted to refuse, but seeing Yue Qi in distress, she persuaded her to trust Doctor Bian. After examining Luo Zhao Yan's pulse, Doctor Bian became suspicious. He found that Luo Zhao Yan's body was fine, but her life force was continuously flowing out.

The village chief was persuading the anxious villagers to trust Doctor Bian and go home and wait for news. Yue Jin Zhao, who followed them, said to Ju Shi Fang that it seemed the fish was about to take the bait. Ju Shi Fang was worried that the Qiyuan Sect's people wouldn't fall for it today, but Yue Jin Zhao firmly believed that they would target the injured followers in Doctor Bian's clinic to silence them. They planned to set up an ambush in advance and catch them all in one fell swoop.

In the evening, Ju Shi Fang brought out a prepared map, and everyone gathered to discuss their plan of action. Luo Zhao Yan suggested initiating the attack at the village entrance to avoid overly disturbing the people, and Yue Qi proposed that she would ambush at Doctor Bian's house to protect him. When Yue Jin Zhao heard this, he seemed unhappy, but he didn't admit it when Yue Qi asked him about it.

In the evening, while Yue Jin Zhao was bathing, he couldn't stop thinking about Yue Qi and Doctor Bian. He felt restless, and Yue Qi entered without knocking, unaware and ready to wipe Yue Jin Zhao. His heart was pounding, but Yue Qi had no understanding of romantic feelings between men and women. Yue Jin Zhao ultimately managed to suppress his wild emotions and put on his clothes.

Yue Qi told Yue Jin Zhao about the conversation with Luo Zhao Yan, and Yue Jin Zhao fell into contemplation."

Xian Qing noticed that Luo Zhao Yan was preoccupied and approached her to strike up a conversation. Upon learning that Luo Zhao Yan was worried about the plan to lure the snake out of its hole that evening, Xian Qing advised her not to take it too seriously and praised her cuteness. However, Luo Zhao Yan, burdened with worries, said that the word "cute" couldn't be used to describe herself.

At night, everyone carried out the prearranged plan and split up. Meanwhile, Yue Qi, who remained at Doctor Bian Luo Huan's house, fell asleep in a dazed state. Doctor Bian carried her back to her room to make her more comfortable. The disciples of the Qiyuan Sect, as expected, mobilized to kill the believers who knew about the situation. When Yue Jin Zhao saw them entering the encirclement, he and Ju Shi Fang suddenly appeared. Realizing that the situation was unfavorable, the Qiyuan Sect members turned to flee but were intercepted by Xian Qing and others. At that moment, Xian Qing detected a demonic aura and used magic to force it out. It turned out to be Su Xuan, who had been following them all along. She swiftly appeared and abducted Ju Shi Fang, paying no attention to his earnest pleas to become a good demon.

On the other side, the Qiyuan Sect's disciples found themselves surrounded and, under the influence of their leader, all bit their tongues and committed suicide. Doctor Bian reproached Su Xuan, as her appearance had caught Yue Jin Zhao's attention. He warned her that if there were any more mistakes, he wouldn't spare her. The bodies of the Qiyuan Sect disciples were brought back to the village, and when their relatives saw them, they cried and blamed Yue Jin Zhao and the others, believing that they had forced their children to their deaths.

Fortunately, one of the believers who had been rescued earlier, Lang Mo, regained consciousness. He revealed to the villagers the persecution they had endured at the hands of the Qiyuan Sect and informed them that many people were still imprisoned in nearby caves. As a result, everyone searched the homes of the deceased believers and indeed found a hidden path leading outside the village, which continued all the way to the caves. Inside, they rescued many near-death believers.

However, the caves were filled with traps. As Doctor Bian entered, a poisoned arrow shot straight toward him. Yue Qi, with quick reflexes, blocked the arrow with her hand, but she herself fell into a coma due to the poison. Yue Jin Zhao blamed everything on Doctor Bian and fed an antidote to Yue Qi. He then drove everyone else out, and upon seeing how concerned Yue Jin Zhao was for Yue Qi, Ming Xiu suspected that they were not truly siblings.

Doctor Bian felt downcast because of Yue Qi's injury.
