Episode 5 recap: Brightness and glory.
Long Ao Tian asked Liu Bo if he still remembered how much he used to hate summer. But now he has figured out a solution. He has already dealt with those people from before, and now it's Liu Bo's turn. Long Ao Tian wonders what Liu Bo will say when he opens the door and comes in.Unexpectedly, the landlord suddenly came over and disturbed them in the middle of the day, making it impossible for others to sleep. Liu Bo met a girl here and talked about his many good qualities, which impressed the girl. The girl went to the restroom first, and Long Ao Tian was also there. He mentioned that Liu Bo had many girlfriends and advised the girl to find out the truth.
The girl was also surprised and asked who Long Ao Tian was. Long Ao Tian mentioned the girl's name, but she said that wasn't her name. Long Ao Tian realized that he had made a mistake; it was actually Liu Bo's ex-girlfriend. Long Ao Tian mentioned several other names, but none of them belonged to the girl. The girl felt frustrated upon hearing this. She didn't expect Liu Bo to have so many ex-girlfriends.
After the girl came out, she told Liu Bo that they should break up, leaving Liu Bo confused and wondering what had happened. When Liu Bo returned home, his mother made dumplings for him, but they were not the flavor he liked, which further added to his frustration.
Liu Bo ate the dumplings and was surprised to find that his mother's cooking skills had improved so much. After eating the dumplings, someone nearby pressed a switch, and Liu Bo's stomach started growling. Liu Bo was frustrated because he initially thought the noise came from somewhere else, but it turned out to be his own stomach.
Liu Bo asked his mother what was going on, and she had to admit that she didn't make the dumplings herself. Liu Bo went to the hospital to have those things removed from his body. Teacher Wu was also in the hospital room and asked Liu Bo if he remembered Long Ao Tian, mentioning that they had done something to Long Ao Tian before, and now Long Ao Tian was seeking revenge.
Teacher Wu said that Long Ao Tian was a very persistent person and once he set his mind on something, he would definitely do it. Long Ao Tian also arrived, and Liu Bo asked him what was going on.
Long Ao Tian said he came to repay a favor. Liu Bo had previously given him Huoxiang Zhengqi water to relieve his internal heat and performed Gua Sha on him. Liu Bo was surprised to hear this and gave Long Ao Tian a coin as a keepsake for the future.
