Episode 6 recap: Assassin Z&Z.
Zhang Zhe Hua came here to apply and mentioned that he used to be an assassin. However, due to an injury, he couldn't use firearms anymore. Nevertheless, he had a strong passion for this industry and didn't want to leave. He heard that this place had new emerging methods of killing, and he wanted to know if they required such skills, so he decided to apply.
The people here asked him if he was willing to accept filming. Zhang Zhe Hua was surprised by this request because he thought assassins should remain discreet. He wondered why there would be filming involved. The people explained that it was an internal assessment for the company and the footage wouldn't be shown to anyone else. Zhang Zhe Hua agreed after hearing their explanation.
Zhang Zhe Hua finally found the place after much difficulty. The leader of this place came down to greet him. Zhang Zhe Hua found it strange that they weren't being discreet at all. The leader said they were actually hidden in these locations, and the people around here always thought they were selling oil, which made it very discreet.
Zhang Zhe Hua followed the leader to the office where there were many photos of outstanding employees on the wall. The leader mentioned that Zhang Zhe Hua would be working under Zhan Xin, who had developed many of the new methods of killing in this emerging field.
Coincidentally, Zhan Xin called at that moment, and the leader arranged for Zhang Zhe Hua to meet Zhan Xin in person.
The leader instructed Zhang Zhe Hua to follow Zhan Xin from now on. Zhan Xin then introduced Zhang Zhe Hua to their current methods of killing. One method involved causing death from lung cancer, which was a result of Zhan Xin giving the victim a cigarette many years ago. Another method was inducing a heart attack, which was similar in approach.
Zhang Zhe Hua wondered if these methods would be time-consuming. However, Zhan Xin believed that these were the safest methods. Zhan Xin accompanied Zhang Zhe Hua back home and discovered that there were video games there, which were also one of their methods of killing. Zhan Xin was surprised to see cola and potato chips, questioning how they could indulge in such things when they were assassins.
Zhang Zhe Hua was perplexed by the situation. Later, when Zhang Zhe Hua went out with Zhan Xin, he was astonished to learn that their method of killing involved offering cigarettes to people. Zhang Zhe Hua questioned how he, as an assassin, could engage in such activities. Eventually, Zhan Xin came and resolved Zhang Zhe Hua's confusion.
Zhan Xin informed everyone that they had received a new order. The target was someone who spent their days engrossed in their phone, lacking energy during the day and being excessively excited at night. Zhan Xin's subordinates asked who this person was, and Zhan Xin showed them the screen.
But if people live their lives so regimented and healthy every day, where is the joy of being human? Isn't it because we, as humans, have invented health supplements and medicines that enhance our physical well-being, as well as indulged in habits like smoking, drinking, and sweets that may shorten our lives?
If we adhere to a strict routine, exercise regularly, and maintain a healthy diet, how are we any different from robots?
I really enjoyed episodes six and seven. In episode six, the focus on the assassin's growth, the community street office's heartwarming mutual aid group had a touch of dark humor. It introduced a new environmentally friendly murder method, reminiscent of the ancient story of Jing Ke assassinating Qin and now we have killer Zhan Xin!
