Episode 15 recap: Hello, new desk mate.
Two new classmates have transferred to our school, and all the teachers and students are busy watching the excitement. When Liu Yi Xian found out, he also hurried to see what was happening. Xia Miao went to talk to Bu Han Lu about whether she should be assigned a new desk mate, but Bu Han Lu refused. Soon, the day of the competition arrived, and Bu Han Lu and her team performed remarkably well. As long as they won first place in the final debate, they would be crowned champions. However, achieving first place proved to be challenging for them. The debate topic at No. 8 High School was that humans are the highest civilization in the universe. Upon seeing the topic, Lin Qian Yu looked forward to Bu Han Lu's performance, hoping that she could reclaim her life through this debate.
In Bu Han Lu's concluding statement, she incorporated her memories of the Red Lotus Squad, which she remembered, into her argument through a hypothetical scenario. This led them to lose the round and secure second place. Bu Han Lu didn't win the championship, and she felt disappointed. Lin Qian Yu accompanied Bu Han Lu to relax and comforted her, letting Bu Han Lu know that second place was still great.
Bu Han Lu and her team returned to school, where they were greeted by the principal and two homeroom teachers who congratulated them. After expressing their blessings, the principal sincerely apologized to the Astronomy Club and revealed that the school had applied for funding from the education bureau to provide them with a new telescope. Bu Han Lu was delighted to hear the news and hurried to the observatory to see the telescope she had been longing for.
Soon, the Mid-Autumn Festival was approaching, and Chen Xiang wanted an answer from Liu Yi Xian because Liu Yi Xian was avoiding him. Chen Xiang discussed with his friends how to confess his feelings to Liu Yi Xian. Liu Yang gave Chen Xiang advice, and Lin Qian Yu and Fang Da Wu also wanted to learn, so they gathered around to listen to Liu Yang's suggestions.
Chen Xiang found an opportunity and directly confessed his feelings to Liu Yi Xian when Liu Yi Xian tried to avoid him once again, asking for a response. Fang Da Wu invited Meng Hui Yuan to the rooftop and made a cake for her, confessing his feelings and promising to make her favorite cookies in the future.
Liu Yang knew that Lin Qian Yu was going to confess to Bu Han Lu. He realized that he had no chance, so he could only go to the place where he had confessed before and put an end to his own feelings. Lin Qian Yu prepared to go on stage for a performance in the Mid-Autumn Festival event and planned to confess to Bu Han Lu afterward. Liu Yang had already guessed Lin Qian Yu's intentions, but he assured Lin Qian Yu that he wouldn't mind and supported him in boldly pursuing his feelings. Lin Qian Yu used his singing voice to confess to Bu Han Lu, disrupting the plans for the Mid-Autumn Festival event. As soon as the principal found out, he immediately turned off the music and ordered Lin Qian Yu to stop the performance.
Upon seeing the principal's arrival, Lin Qian Yu wanted to escape but accidentally broke his guitar while running away. Bu Han Lu promptly grabbed the stunned Lin Qian Yu and fled together. Meanwhile, Liu Yi Xian and the others were also discovered and hurriedly escaped.
