Episode 18 recap: Not only the star is dim.

The nurse bandaged Lin Qian Yu, and Feng Ke Ke volunteered to stay and accompany Lin Qian Yu, which made Bu Han Lu extremely jealous. Before Lin Qian Yu was properly bandaged, Bu Han Lu directly pulled him out and questioned him about his relationship with Feng Ke Ke.Lin Qian Yu explained that Feng Ke Ke was his girlfriend, but it was just an excuse to save her. This reassured Bu Han Lu. Bu Han Lu felt happy inside, but didn't show it to Lin Qian Yu. He only requested that when Lin Qian Yu went home, he shouldn't let Feng Ke Ke accompany him.

When Lin Qian Yu was ready to leave with his medicine, Feng Ke Ke offered to accompany him. Lin Qian Yu immediately refused Feng Ke Ke, not allowing her to assume the role of his girlfriend again. Feng Ke Ke could only question Lin Qian Yu about his feelings for Bu Han Lu.

Feng Ke Ke noticed that when Lin Qian Yu was fighting with the gangsters, he showed a concern for Bu Han Lu. She believed that Bu Han Lu also understood Lin Qian Yu's feelings, but he didn't say it out loud. Feng Ke Ke advised Lin Qian Yu, claiming that Bu Han Lu had seen through him but hadn't said anything, possibly because he had developed feelings for someone else. Coincidentally, Duan Chi had invited Bu Han Lu to the observatory that night to watch the stars.

Upon hearing Feng Ke Ke's words, Lin Qian Yu became nervous and decided to go to the observatory with her. Bu Han Lu was fascinated by the stars and inadvertently noticed that a certain star in the constellation Cetus was dim, which made her worry. Lin Qian Yu entered the room and found Duan Chi and Bu Han Lu standing close together, watching the stars. He couldn't help but feel extremely jealous, while Feng Ke Ke pretended to be intimate with him, claiming that they had been together all day because of her, and that was the reason why he came to see the stars.

Bu Han Lu, feeling jealous, wanted to leave, and Duan Chi wanted to accompany her. Lin Qian Yu immediately stopped them, which led to a conflict between Lin Qian Yu and Duan Chi. While Lin Qian Yu and Duan Chi argued, Bu Han Lu pulled Lin Qian Yu away. Unable to contain his emotions, Lin Qian Yu expressed everything he wanted to say.

Lin Qian Yu knew that Bu Han Lu was angry with him before because he had mistaken his confession as a prank, but he believed that when he gave her gifts and sang love songs in the car, Bu Han Lu didn't resist him and actually liked him. He thought she was just waiting for his confession. After explaining everything, Lin Qian Yu wanted to confess his feelings to Bu Han Lu, but she didn't give him the opportunity.

Bu Han Lu prevented Lin Qian Yu from confessing and also stated that if she had to choose between Lin Qian Yu and Duan Chi, she would rather choose Duan Chi. Bu Han Lu told Lin Qian Yu that allies should not fall in love with each other. Lin Qian Yu was momentarily excited and almost revealed the fact that he was forced to become an ally.

Lin Qian Yu learned about the alliance situation, which affected him and Bu Han Lu, so he went home to question Lin Qian Qian. Lin Qian Qian explained that when he was thirteen years old, Bu Han Lu was in a hurry to find an ally and encountered a scammer on an online forum. The scammer falsely claimed to be an ally and confessed to Bu Han Lu. Bu Han Lu almost left with the scammer, but fortunately, Lin Qian Yu accidentally removed the valve core from the scammer's bicycle, saving Bu Han Lu.

Afterwards, in order to protect Bu Han Lu, Lin Qian Qian told her about the rule that allies cannot be in a romantic relationship. She had also asked Lin Qian Yu before if he liked Bu Han Lu, which led to Lin Qian Yu becoming the ally.

Upon learning the truth, Lin Qian Yu felt helpless about being rejected by Bu Han Lu, and he could only continue to stay by her side and protect her. Bu Han Lu went home to research about the constellation Cetus and inadvertently discovered that it had become dim, possibly indicating the beginning of the invasion they were facing. Therefore, she believed that the Red Lotus Squad should expand.

Bu Han Lu discussed the expansion with Lin Qian Yu, who had no choice but to agree to her request and gather everyone together. Bu Han Lu explained to everyone about joining the Red Lotus Squad, leaving Liu Yang and the others confused.

Liu Yang and the others knew that Bu Han Lu was still trapped in a non-existent world and didn't know how to respond. Liu Yi Xian took the lead in expressing support for all of Bu Han Lu's actions. Liu Yang, in the midst of everyone supporting Bu Han Lu, emotionally stated that he wouldn't join because he didn't want to see Bu Han Lu living in a virtual world.

Lin Qian Yu tried to stop Liu Yang, resulting in a major conflict between them. It was only through Meng Hui Yuan's mediation that Liu Yang reluctantly agreed to join. After everyone agreed to join the Red Lotus Squad, Bu Han Lu decided to negotiate with the head teacher to relax the school's surveillance on them.

In front of the head teacher, Bu Han Lu promised that each member of the group would achieve the grades required by the head teacher in the final exams, in order to regain access to the rooftop, have their phones returned, and resume normal interactions. The head teacher agreed to Bu Han Lu's request and brought out their report cards, demanding that they each improve their scores by thirty points in the final exams.

Liu Yang felt that a thirty-point improvement was impossible for them and became agitated, wanting to quit. Bu Han Lu then took everyone back home.
