Episode 21 recap: Youth ends in the moment of awakening from a dream.
Lin Qian Yu walked back with a sense of loss, while Liu Yi Xian and the others were waiting there, wanting to accompany Lin Qian Yu all the way. Lin Qian Yu told them about waking up Bu Han Lu, and everyone knew that Bu Han Lu must have said something hurtful to Lin Qian Yu. They could only accompany and comfort Lin Qian Yu.
Bu Han Lu's parents had been waiting outside the observatory, wanting to call Bu Han Lu out, but he refused to come out. Bu Tian wanted to force the door open and call Bu Han Lu out, but Bu Han Lu threatened to do something they wouldn't expect, which frightened them.
Bu Han Lu locked himself in the observatory, not making a sound or eating anything, and Bu Tian and the others could only stay outside the door with him. On New Year's Eve, Bu Tian and Tian Xiu Xiu prepared food and wine, wanting to spend New Year's Eve with Bu Han Lu, but he still remained silent.

Liu Yi Xian and the others pretended to bring delicious food, hoping to entice Bu Han Lu to come out, but he still remained silent.
Feeling sad, Lin Qian Yu went outside to take a breath and recalled the first New Year's Eve when she met Bu Han Lu. Suddenly, she had an inspiration and went back to sing a song for him. Lin Qian Yu wrote a new song for Bu Han Lu, and this song touched him. However, when Bu Han Lu tried to open the door and go out, he collapsed because his body couldn't handle not eating or drinking for several days.
Upon hearing the commotion, Lin Qian Yu immediately went to force the door open and hurriedly took Bu Han Lu to the hospital for treatment. After Bu Han Lu's treatment, Lin Qian Yu handed over the comic to Bu Tian, hoping that a psychologist would be able to cure Bu Han Lu after seeing the comic.

It was Bu Han Lu's birthday, and she was waiting at home to receive a message from Bu Han Lu. Meanwhile, Lin Qian Qian was hesitating whether to send a message to Bu Han Lu. Lin Qian Qian watched Bu Han Lu from downstairs, while Bu Han Lu's parents went out to find Lin Qian Qian, who had just returned after half a year, and they had a big fight because they couldn't find her.
During the argument between Bu Tian and Tian Xiu Xiu, they noticed Lin Qian Qian, who was about to leave, and immediately recognized her. However, Lin Qian Qian denied her identity. Bu Tian stopped Lin Qian Qian, and just then, Lin Qian Yu and the others arrived. Lin Qian Qian's identity was exposed, so the Bu Tian couple had to talk to her.
Lin Qian Qian admitted that she had told a lie to Bu Han Lu, and it was all because Bu Han Yu couldn't trust her unreliable parents but couldn't let go of Bu Han Lu, so she fabricated the lie. Lin Qian Qian revealed the pain Bu Han Yu experienced before her death, as well as how Bu Han Lu had been ostracized since childhood, and how she had attempted suicide because of Bu Han Yu's death, indicating that the Bu Tian couple had neglected their daughters.
Lin Qian Qian spoke out, feeling a great deal of pain, and her body almost couldn't bear it, nearly fainting. Lin Qian Yu stayed with Lin Qian Qian and expressed her feelings, knowing that Lin Qian Qian had long treated Bu Han Lu as her own sister, and every pager message she sent expressed her affection for her sister. Lin Qian Yu knew that Lin Qian Qian would make the right choice.
After being comforted by Lin Qian Yu, Lin Qian Qian sent a message to Bu Han Lu, telling her that her sister had returned and asked her to meet at the riverbank. Bu Han Lu happily ran to the riverbank to meet her sister, but instead, she saw Lin Qian Yu pushing Lin Qian Qian towards her. She could only ask them if they had seen Bu Han Yu.
Lin Qian Qian truthfully told Bu Han Lu the story of Bu Han Yu, letting her know that it was all a dream that Bu Han Yu had created for her and that she had now awakened from the dream. Although Bu Han Lu heard the truth, she still couldn't believe it. Lin Qian Qian had to send more messages to persuade Bu Han Lu to come back.

Bu Han Yu said goodbye to Bu Han Lu and reminded her that separation wasn't so scary, telling her to say hello to the bubbles in the soda the next time she drank it, as if her sister was still there.
Bu Han Lu was awakened by her sister's call and burst into tears by the riverside, while her friends from the Seven-member Group stood by her side, accompanying her on her journey of growth.
