Episode 4 recap: We will eventually reunite at the end of the universe.
Bu Han Lu arrived at the Astronomy Society but was informed by the president that they did not receive her application form. The president went to the club office to confirm the application form, while the members of the Astronomy Society surrounded Bu Han Lu, asking why. They all felt that Bu Han Lu joining the Astronomy Society was a miracle. When the president returned from the club office and confirmed that there was no application form from Bu Han Lu, they advised her to give up.
Fang Da Wu and Liu Yi Xian watched Meng Hui Yuan dance and were particularly captivated. Fang Da Wu couldn't help but blush. The next morning, when Bu Han Lu was preparing to go to school, Tian Xiu Xiu wanted to invite her to dinner outside to celebrate her birthday, but Bu Han Lu refused.
Bu Han Lu didn't want to celebrate her birthday, but Bu Tian made longevity noodles, so she had to finish the noodles before going to school, which made her late. Bu Han Lu didn't want to be marked as late, so she followed Lin Qian Yu's example and climbed over the wall. Unexpectedly, she bumped into Lin Qian Yu and they climbed the wall together.
After climbing over the wall, Bu Han Lu asked Lin Qian Yu to help her join the society, so Lin Qian Yu took Bu Han Lu to the observatory. The president of the observatory signed Bu Han Lu's application to join the society but mentioned that she would be the last member, as the Astronomy Society was about to dissolve.
Bu Han Lu asked the president about the reason and learned that their Astronomy Society had never even been to the observatory, let alone seen a telescope. That's why they couldn't retain members. Without enough members, the Astronomy Society couldn't continue, but Bu Han Lu vowed that as long as she was there, she would never let the society dissolve.
After school, Bu Han Lu noticed that her phone signal had become weak. At that moment, Liu Yi Xian called her and asked her to come to the rooftop urgently. Bu Han Lu didn't know what urgent matter Liu Yi Xian had, so she anxiously waited for a message from her sister while heading to the rooftop.
After Bu Han Lu agreed, Liu Yi Xian went to the rooftop to set up, but unexpectedly, Lin Qian Yu and the others were already there. Liu Yi Xian and Fang Da Wu were both afraid of Lin Qian Yu, but they gathered up the courage to ask if they could share the space. Thankfully, Meng Hui Yuan helped them, allowing them to set up the birthday venue on the rooftop.
When Bu Han Lu arrived on the rooftop, Liu Yi Xian immediately surprised her with fireworks. However, Bu Han Lu, who had lost cellphone signal, was eager to leave. Lin Qian Yu, seeing how ungrateful Bu Han Lu was toward her friends' arrangements, got angry and approached Bu Han Lu to reprimand her.
In her haste to leave, Bu Han Lu accidentally blurted out that their matters had nothing to do with Lin Qian Yu and even said that she wasn't friends with Liu Yi Xian and the others. Liu Yi Xian was hurt by Bu Han Lu's words and didn't know how to persuade her to stay, but Liu Yang stepped forward and advised Bu Han Lu to stay a little longer.
When Bu Han Lu realized her phone had signal again, she decided to stay and celebrate her birthday with Liu Yi Xian and the others. Liu Yi Xian assured Bu Han Lu that she didn't care if Bu Han Lu considered her a friend or not, but she would always consider Bu Han Lu as her best friend.
Liu Yi Xian explained that when they were young, no one wanted to hold her hand because her palms were always sweaty, but Bu Han Lu was willing to hold her little hand. Since then, she had considered Bu Han Lu her best friend. Bu Han Lu was touched by Liu Yi Xian's words and happy about the cream cake Fang Da Wu made, her favorite old-fashioned cream cake. She made a wish while looking at the cake, hoping to receive blessings from her sister.
After making the wish, Liu Yi Xian playfully smeared a little bit of cream on Bu Han Lu's face, and they ended up playing and frolicking around. However, they accidentally got cream on Lin Qian Yu's head. Instead of getting angry, Lin Qian Yu joined in the fun, and their group of four became a group of seven.
While Bu Han Lu was enjoying herself, she saw an unidentified flying object in the night sky and thought it was the appearance of the T star in the constellation Cetus. At that moment, she also received a message on her pager. Bu Han Yu wished Bu Han Lu a happy seventeenth birthday and made a promise that they would eventually reunite at the end of the universe.
Bu Han Lu was overjoyed to receive her sister's birthday wishes, and at that moment, Lin Qian Yu extended an olive branch, offering to share half of the rooftop with Bu Han Lu and considering it as a birthday gift for her.
