Episode 24 recap: Mo Bing and Xuanli's hearts were connected.
Mo Bing asked Xuanli if she would be willing to give up her demonic powers and become a mortal again. Xuanli eagerly urged him to proceed. Mo Bing was puzzled, wondering if she wasn't attached to her immense power. Xuanli explained that her parents had left her because of this power and that she couldn't control it properly, almost causing destruction to the human realm. Therefore, this power was a burden to her. After listening to her words, Mo Bing affectionately touched Xuanli's hair, then removed the demonic aura from her body and bid her farewell before leaving. Xuanli asked him where she could find him, and Mo Bing told her to focus on her cultivation, assuring her that they would meet again one day.
Mo Bing shook the bottle containing Xuanli's demonic aura, but unexpectedly, he heard Xuanli's voice. It turned out that because it was a part of Xuanli's body, they could sense each other. Soon after, Xuanli appeared directly in Mo Bing's embrace. They exchanged a few words, and Mo Bing was about to send Xuanli back, but she insisted on staying and continue her cultivation. Mo Bing agreed.
At night, Xuanli arranged many lights and made a date with Mo Bing. Mo Bing gathered many fireflies for Xuanli, and they had a romantic meeting amidst the beautiful scenery. Mo Bing put on the hairpin that Han Mu had given Xuanli in the past, and memories replayed in their minds. They gazed affectionately at each other, gradually getting closer, and kissed each other.
