Episode 5 recap: Han Mu took the holy artifact from Xuanli.
Han Mu took the holy artifact from Xuanli. The Great Elder of the Yao Clan received a request from the Nine Heavens to help stabilize the divine symbol. Just as Master Bo was expressing gratitude to the Great Elder, a messenger from the Yao Clan informed the Great Elder that people from the Nine Heavens had taken away the Yao Clan's sacred artifact, the Seven-Colored Xuanjia.
Han Mu, heavily injured, leaned against a tree and handed the captured Seven-Colored Xuanjia to Li Hua, asking her to give it to Xuanli to protect her life. Reluctantly, Li Hua went on her way. Nan Hao arrived and asked Han Mu if he had gone to the Yao Clan. Han Mu was about to explain when Nan Hao waved his hand and took Han Mu to the Chaos Pagoda, commanding him to kneel. Han Mu explained that he did it for Xuanli, but Nan Hao said that he had worked hard to convince the Great Elder of the Yao Clan to join them in fighting against the Demon Clan, and if the Yao Clan sided with the Demon Clan because of this incident, what would they do? Han Mu replied that he did it for Xuanli as well. Nan Hao sensed his thoughts and asked if Han Mu had feelings for Xuanli. Han Mu remained silent. Nan Hao then revealed that the Demon Sovereign was about to be born and that Han Mu should not let personal desires lead to the suffering of others. He also revealed Xuanli's background, explaining that the Demon Sovereign had stolen the Xuanjing from the Nine Heavens in order to ensure a smooth delivery for Nan Ping.
Senior Sister gave the Seven-Colored Xuanjia to Xuanli, who was delighted to hear that Han Mu had taken it for her and happily put it on. Later, Xuanli went to thank Han Mu, and Qingxue, who was nearby, was astonished to hear the story. However, Han Mu appeared indifferent to Xuanli, stating that he was acting on someone else's behalf and not for her.
