Episode 9 recap: Brother Qiang was arrested.
Xin Zheng Yi came over and thought that this was selling superstition. Lv Dong Bin said that the amulet was written by a real deity and can bring safety, but it's only buying peace of mind with money. Bai Xue Hua went to see her friends and on her way back through an alley, she was knocked unconscious by someone.
Chen Mu Kun noticed that Bai Xue Hua hadn't returned and came to look for her. He happened to see Bai Xue Hua waking up and quickly brought her back. Bai Xue Hua sprained her foot, and Lv Dong Bin wanted to give her a massage, but Chen Mu Kun didn't want Lv Dong Bin to touch Bai Xue Hua, so he asked Lv Dong Bin to teach him and he would do the massage himself.
Lv Dong Bin agreed and demonstrated on Chen Mu Kun, causing him great pain. The police came to investigate Bai Xue Hua and said that there was a strong odor coming from the person. They investigated and found out that it was Brother Qiang, who had poured out the incense. They also found hidden valuables at Brother Qiang's house.
Brother Qiang was arrested but shouted that he was innocent and claimed he didn't do it. Bai Xue Hua went to see Brother Qiang's wife and found out that they had two young children who looked quite pitiful. Brother Qiang's wife asked if she could unilaterally divorce him now, and the police confirmed that such a regulation exists. Chen Mu Kun and the others noticed that something was wrong; the two children were very afraid of others and seemed to have been frequently beaten.
Chen Mu Kun and the others went to find the children again, and whenever they mentioned their father, the children became extremely scared. Bai Xue Hua discovered that Brother Qiang's wife and the two children were often physically abused by Brother Qiang. She brought money and told them to leave quickly before the police found out. However, the police arrived and said that they had investigated and found out that Brother Qiang hadn't poured out the incense for the past three months. Moreover, on those nights, he was mostly at the gambling house, so it was impossible for him to do those things. The one who actually did those things was Brother Qiang's wife.
Brother Qiang's wife admitted it and said she was willing to leave with them but asked for a little time to talk to her children. The children were actually awake, and Bai Xue Hua felt sorry for them and told them to follow her later. When Brother Qiang came back, he started rummaging through the house looking for money, and Bai Xue Hua came to stop him.
Brother Qiang thought that Bai Xue Hua looked wealthy and suggested she give him the money instead.
Brother Qiang's son bit him, and Brother Qiang quickly let go. Bai Xue Hua took the opportunity to grab them and run outside. After Brother Qiang left, he continued to help Jin Ye collect debts and ended up beating the person who hadn't paid back the money. The police happened to witness it, but Brother Qiang didn't admit it and claimed that he bumped into the person himself.
The person didn't dare to say anything and could only claim that it was his own fault. Brother Qiang was arrested, and many victims came forward, expressing their willingness to identify him. Xin Zheng Yi asked Brother Qiang who his boss was, but Brother Qiang refused to admit it. Xin Zheng Yi said that they could catch Brother Qiang this time, and Chen Mu Kun and the others also helped a lot.
Xin Zheng Yi felt it was a pity that Brother Qiang wouldn't reveal Jin Ye's identity; otherwise, they could deal with Jin Ye.
