Episode 16 recap: Qiu Yu was threatened by his father.
Bai Qingyi still went to find Xu Wei, but Xu Wei wanted to close the door as soon as she saw Bai Qingyi. However, Bai Qingyi insisted on staying at the door. Bai Qingyi wanted to know what had happened to Xu Wei that made her treat him this way, but Xu Wei said it was just a game and asked Bai Qingyi to leave. Bai Qingyi still didn't believe it, so he asked Xu Wei for the last time, but Xu Wei still didn't reveal their relationship.
Shasha cried and told her aunt that Bai Qingyi's soul had been taken away by Xu Wei, hoping that her aunt could help. She used to think that one day Bai Qingyi would fall in love with her, but ever since Xu Wei appeared, Shasha has been feeling very insecure. Xu Wei took the initiative to get closer to Bai Qingyi, and the distance between them seemed to quietly shorten, making the atmosphere even more subtle.
